This one coulda gone down as the worst loss of the season if it wasn’t for Jonathan Kuminga saving the warriors. Steve Kerr finally put JK in with 4 minutes left in the third, and the man finished with 13 points in 16 minutes, on 6 for 6 FG with a team high +13 for a comeback victory against the tanking Blazers. I wanted to break his impact down so let’s get to it.

This game also shows how poor the coaching has been. The game was an absolute wreck until the second unit was inserted. The second unit regained the lead and Kerr finally left JK on the floor to finish. All night long, all of the non-professionals were calling for the younger players to bring energy and athleticism to counter Portland. Finally, Kerr caught on the game made a 180.

I've been noticing (maybe I'm wrong) that Kerr has often been having Klay stay in with the bench guys when Kerr goes to the bench to switch out the starters. Maybe he's kind of prepping Klay for the bench? To have CP3 and Klay kind of be the Bench Vets?

Totally agree. Moody too. It is hard for guys who are playing better than 2-3 starters to languish on the bench, watching Klays throw bricks and Wiggs, well who knows what’s going on with him. He plays defense and is a non-entity on offense. The rest of the team knows it too and have to wonder why the coach is not playing their best players in the starting rotation. Maybe just start the second unit with Steph.

I honestly don't know how both Klay and Wiggins continuously shoots brick after brick completely shooting us outta games and Kerr is hell bent on riding with these guys instead of giving their minutes to Moody and Kuminga. Management needs to pull Kerr in the office and have a talk with him. It's not fair on the team or the fans. We love both Klay and Wiggins but clear they're not helping us win why not look in another direction for the betterment of the team?

Yes, it's been so frustrating watching the team play lately. Kerr is so stubborn, he wants to stick with the vets even when they play poorly. Last game they lost, Moody was playing soooo well! He was dropping 3s after 3s. But no, last couple minutes of the game, Kerr benched the guy for Clay. 😒😩
