yep. during game 7 in 2016 kyrie made the game winning shot but everyone goes to congratulate lebron, and when kyrie comes up to lebron, you see lebron kind of give him a little hug and pat like an approving father then kyrie leaves. lebron treated him like he was his son which is disrespectful to someone like kyrie. i know exactly how kyrie felt. kyrie worked for everything he has. he wasn’t gifted with size, or insane athleticism, he put in countless hours to make himself the best pg to ever live (in my opinion). he trained for hours with weighted balls and on broken hoops when he was a kid. nobody particularly believed in him but he proved everyone wrong and made it. he won a ring, and created one of the most successful nike shoe partnerships ever; all because of his own hard work and determination. he’s my idol and what I strive to be. i want to play just like him someday. i want to inspire people like he inspired me. i want to prove people wrong. kyrie knew he was more than just “lebrons son” so he left. it might not have even have been a “disrespect” thing…maybe it was just the fact that he knew he was worth more than that.

My take: I personally feel that Kyrie did not want to his greatness to be overshadowed by LeBron’s greatness. Kyrie didn’t want to be the no. 2 option. He wanted to be no. 1. His shot that year in finals was why they won the championship. But it was overshadowed by LeBron’s block on Iguodala. I think it’s pride that Kyrie has and had to overcome. He’s grown since then. @@melvinhhcp3615 With klove who was far from his prime after injuries? Jefferson, shump, and jr who were few yrs from retirement? Who made it a super team, kyrie, dellavedova, or thompson? Kyrie played great, but only made teams worse outside of Cleveland, so bron deserves some credit for leading ky the right way to get the best out of him. Rest of the guys were solid role players, not super stars. Bron dragged same team to finals without kyrie. And Kevin love proved how good he really was after bron left and he tried to lead the team, went to bottom of the nba. Klove was a great player before all the injuries, and that was before Cleveland. I never said bron made it to finals by himself. But u could take any one player off that team and bron still takes them to finals, without bron that team bottom of the barrel. That was proven '17 and '18... all the guys your claiming are part of super team have never sniffed a deep playoff run without bron, but they're champs with him. People call cavs super team, but never hear the bulls with 4 prime hall of famers on same team at same time a super team, even though they were going against teams that only had 1 or 2. And many of those teammates won rings without mj. Brons teammates can't sniff a finals without him.
