Yes cats and kittens do clean themselves however sometimes they need a bath to get rid of fleas. And they are nice and flea free and at some vets they have cat hotels for cats when their owners are away and they get baths and after coming back home from holiday their owners pick them up from the vet 😂and they look and feel and smell as fresh as a daisy

The feel of warm water getting into the fur must be pleasant. Kittens are sensitive, but perceive no reasons to be so sensitive, since they are cared for all the time therefore have no worries. Adult cats are sensitive, and often feel they should be sensitive even if they are cared for. There must be some concerns, for they are no longer kittens.

For all you people judging for bathing a kitten, youre wrong. Its so important to get cats and dogs used to bathing and brushing, nail trimming also so if and when it meeds to be done its not so traumatic to the animals. Especially as they get older. Nothing worse than seeing an older animal who can no longer clean themselves have a hard time when it has to be done.

@sallyg137 I've had kittens with disabilities that required bathing and actually having videos like this would have been super helpful. Like when the kitten was introduced to the water it was a gentle stream...some owners miss that and have it turned on when they ate in the sink or tub it could scare them.

But I've seen some cat baths that were pretty ruthless and showed no respect or tenderness. It's a fact that most cats hate water and fear it. I'm still uncertain that these kittens needed a bath but it was done with care.

Das habe ich auch schon gedacht das sie nicht gebadet werden weil sie sich selbst säubern. Ich dürfte bei meinen zwei Katzen nicht damit kommen den die wären echt sauer auf mich den ganzen Tag.
