Eisner brought a certain fun to Disney. His live action hosting along side characters brought a charm to movies that I miss. Now we try to cram in as much TV as possible often cutting credits and hosts. but back then hosting made movies some thing to show up on time for. and it made CEOs feel more likable.

Feels like Eisner fell off after Wells died and Katzenberg left since he went on to write the book Working Together: Why Great Partnerships Succeed. I do question why he had more faith in The Country Bears movie than he did with Pirates of the Caribbean. Apparently, Eisner is also the reason why Pomp and Circumstance is in Fantasia 2000 despite protests from the animators.

I once wrote a letter to Michael Eisner and asking him what was he thinking of buying the rights to make a Movie based on Mr. Magoo from 1997 back when he left Disney years ago in circa 2015 or 2016!

wait Golden GIrls is technically a Disney show? then what the hell is it doing not on the streaming service? You know it's funny when I saw the Disney100 logo yesterday it kind of reminded me for the Wonderful World of Disney opening 6:44 so he was never fired Thank god Iger bought Pixar....man what if Blue Sky ended up distributing those films,....Pixar would have been screwed over Tune in next time where we see "When Bob Iger Ran Disney" I'm kidding most of his tenure was spent with acquisitions Comparing Bojack to the Lion King? that's a stretch
@MrCoat2 жыл бұрын
The Golden Girls is on Disney+. And I'm pretty sure it's on Hulu in the United States, too. I assume you mean 20th Century Fox, Blue Sky's parent company, distributing Pixar films? Yes, that would have been a possibility had Pixar completely broken off from Disney in the mid-2000s.

@@MrCoat man if Pixar ended up at FOX then they still would have ended up at Disney.....and probably would have ended up shutting...wait no Disney wouldn't do that to Pixar considering their history and to be fair I still don't have Disney+, so I wouldn't have known this

@@orhanamin1347 Chapek was in charge for roughly two years - iger was in charge for 15, you stooge. Every terrible decision that was made to ruin the company was done by iger. 2 years isn’t enough time to decide what kind of coffee to serve in the break rooms at a major corporation, let alone implement all the horrible polices that tanked the company.
