A few years ago I had a conversation with a Shia Muslim man who sometimes was very angry with me for pointing out the factual, historical Muhammad. Only because our wives were good friends would he even get together with me on certain occasions. I helped him with his PhD thesis in the field of quantum physics by reading it through and correcting any grammatical mistakes in English and translating the 3 page summary into German. That was a huge challenge! He is now a physics professor in Iran. Anyway, before he returned to Iran for good from Germany he asked me to sit down and speak with him about something important for him. He openly admitted that he and most other Muslims have a fantasy Muhammad in their minds, but when I showed him the real, historical Muhammad it made him angry and sick to his stomach! He summed it up this way: "My choice is either to stick to the fantasy Muhammad or recognize the historical Muhammad and feel miserable. I see no other option." I challenged him to to sincerely compare the historical Jesus and the historical Muhammad and choose on his own, which one he would prefer to entrust his soul and eternal destiny to. That was our last meeting. It is my prayer that he has since done that. If someone desires you can pray for him as well. His name is Hasan S.

No he is not; that is not biblical. He is in the grave resting in Jesus and waiting for the resurrection. It is written that the dead know not anything (Ecc 9:5). On the very day we die our thoughts perish (Ps 146:4). When Jesus returns, the dead in Christ will rise first and we (the saved ones) who are alive, will change in the twinkling of an eye and be caught up (1 Thess 4:16-17) . So we have that blessed hope that we will meet our loved ones (who died in Christ) again . I prayed before I read the Quran, asking God to show me, if he wanted me to join Islam. Instead, I was alarmed in what I read. Muslims are told only to memorize the Quran but are forbidden to question the teachings of Muhammad lest they leave Islam. If Islam was from God, the Quran would not have contradicted God's commandments, creating the world's only man-made religion using God to violate all of God's laws such as hate your neighbors, show how mean you can be, Wage war with non-Muslims, chop off hand and foot on opposite sides, crucify or behead. Rape female captives, marry children, (as in the Hadiths modeled after Muhammad who married Alisha). Therefore I pray for all Muslims, to question Islam and to leave it for it will bring them only hell. God who created life and all humankind, is compassionate and merciful and so are all those who serve him.

The night my sweet, gentle husband passed over...the Holy Angels sang thrice for me. This was holy...Divine sounds like no other. I shared this with family and friends and my 94yr old Mom told me The Holy Angels marched and sang passed our house the night my 4yr old brother, Robert past on. This gave me the reassurance that there is a Heaven and there are Holy Angels ...so God and Heaven must be Real. Very true...I can't describe it. All I can say is that it's Divine choral sounds. My late husband was a sweet, gentle servant of God. He was instrumental to start the first Anglican church music ministry in CT. He had a hard time because the older folk didn't like any other music played except the organ. Yes, most Muslims don't read that much into the Quran. I came close to marrying a Muslim from Saudi Arabia. When things went south in the relationship (his doing, not mine), I gave him a copy of the Quran and told him to find GOD. I did not push the Christian way, because when on that search, all go back to the foundations they were taught. He would not understand what I was getting at and at the time, I didn't understand Islam to point the differences out. I did it out of love. I still don't understand how I've heard other Muslims stating that they pray to Mohammed for healing, but he was NEVER a healer mentioned in the Quran. It was always Jesus. Muslims are supposed to believe in the Gospels, but they don't act like they even know what they are. You can also say the same about Christians. Most don't pick up the Bible. My ex would say, hang out with the Christians, but eat like the Jews.

The story of Jesus breathing life into a bird is an Apochryphal gospel story. It's not part of the Bible Canon and not accepted by Christians. But I understand what you are saying. There are definitely elements of the Quran that point to a Divine Jesus. The virgin birth is a strong example. No prophet, not even Mohammed had a virgin birth. Why was this story kept, when the Crucifixion and the crowning miracle of the Ressurection were denied by Islam. It would have been consistent to deny the virgin birth with denying Jesus' Divinity. I believe that Mohammed didn't understand that the fabric of the Bible is interlaced and picking at one thread doesn't undo the enormity of the Bible.

@NoBody-i3z4r if you believe in Jesus Christ, when you die you'll be taken up in to Heaven and be in the presence of Jesus until the day of judgment. On that day your body will be resurrected and won't decay. Not only the ones who believe in Christ but everyone's bodies will be resurrected. And then Jesus will separate the sheep from the goats. So yes he's with Jesus now.
