I’ve had both black and white patients say this. Usually it’s bc I’m a female and they think they’ll be able to walk all over me….😂😂😂😂😂 that’s when I hit ‘em with the nuh uh honey we are about to be respectful of each other and sorry but I’m what the agency sent and you’re lucky they sent me with as short staffed as we are. 😂😂😂😂 usually that gets them right. If not I try to win them over with there favorite treats and favorite hobby’s like sometimes dominos or coloring or a favorite book. I’ve even bought dinners before. I’ll do what I have to do for my patients to act right.

I used to take care of older people. I was a home health provider . I loved my job and my older people . Each one had their own personal . And their ways they wanted . You to do things for them . Granddaddy just got to get used to the help . And be patient with him.😊

All of a sudden the lights go off and all you hear are the blows going upside the son's head! Hilarious! Where did the dad get that behavior? Had to be from his dad. I love when old people tell you what they will do to you and can't bust a grape. Do you remember the one saying they used, "I'll knock you into the middle of next week!" They will make your life a living hell if crossed.😂 My grandparents are gone but still revered out of love/respect/fear.😂. All jokes aside, many times it’s the grandparents that were the rocks and stability of the family. They took a lot of blows so their grandchildren didn’t have to.
