I’ve been playing on GG for 2 years, and I always lose when I’m all-in, as my opponents hit the one-outer river or runner-runner every time they need it, especially Russian players. Even with a flopped full house, I can’t escape the bad beats. I can often predict the river cards correctly and leave my friends stunned as I can guess when I’ll lose hands with over 93% equity. It happens so frequently, defying all mathematical probability, that I can’t shake the feeling something isn’t right.

I have to admit from my experience with GG going all in I get sucked out on a lot and can relate to what you're saying. Mainly stay on Stars atm but I do like the way GG looks

This is the complaint of a good many of us. And yes sometimes it looks very suspicious. But too many bad beats in a short space of time will mess with your mind.

It doesn’t look suspicious…. It’s an obvious scam, please ask the people for a plus ev graph, someone should have one, I’m running below ev online for 20 years, thankfully only mitts. It’s a scam, not even a good one, it’s also not predetermined that’s why people hit 2% against you like it’s nothing, they already started the hand as the winner….

@AcesFullPoker2 ай бұрын
Not all online poker is a scam. While there have been some questionable sites, reputable platforms like PokerStars, partypoker, and WSOP are heavily regulated and go through rigorous testing to ensure fairness. These sites use RNG that are independently audited to keep the games fair. They also operate under strict licenses and follow anti-collusion protocols. It’s understandable to be skeptical, but the major sites do have oversight to maintain legitimacy.

The one thing about GG poker I cannot get over, is the fact they shuffle the cards after each street. I have a 270k have history where I have LOST 76.7% of hands where I've gone all in pre flop as a 65%+ favorite. When you consider where I have minimum 85% equity all in pre flop, I have lost 86.4% of those hands. I'm certain now the cards are manipulated each street based off all in equity as they shuffle the cards after each street. You won't find a casino on the planet that shuffles the cards after each street, so why is it done, or even allowed to be done, in online poker. It just adds far more variance and the ability to manipulate each street as the hand is played.

I hate that cliche when ppl say when u play online u see more hands that’s y it’s so many suck outs and bad beats.. but y is it only one sided ? Y is it bcuz u see so many more hands online than live it leads to bad beats ? Y can’t it be the opposite ? Y me seeing more hands doesn’t lead to more success and winning more ? That’s my only question .. it’s one sided
@AcesFullPoker3 ай бұрын
it’s probably because our brains are wired to remember the bad beats more than the times things go our way. Believe it or not, you’re likely getting your fair share of wins too, but those don’t stick with us as much as the times we lose to that miracle river card. So yeah, it’s not that the game is rigged or anything - it’s just that with more hands, the extremes feel way more noticeable.

Online poker sites do not event pretend that they fight bots. It would be easy to implement captcha tests or the mechanisms to report the presence of bots. Such mechanisms simply don't exist, because poker sites are happy with the additional liquidity that bots give them.

@AcesFullPoker2 ай бұрын
The part about bots adapting strategies comes from some pretty fascinating research on advanced poker bots, like Pluribus from Carnegie Mellon and Facebook’s AI Lab. These bots are programmed to actually adjust their play in real-time based on who they’re up against - kind of like a human player ‘switching gears’ depending on the table dynamics. And yeah a lot of well known Poker professionals were tied to full tilt and Russ Hamiltons Ultimate Bet.. The Ultimate Bet one is hard to imagine they had no idea what was going on but its possible?

That dumb excuse, that is just perception due to the fact the playing online you see more hands is as dumb as it can be. Actually the opposite happens. The fact the so many hands are being played online make a sample or a population large enough to validate their statistical metrics, meaning they are indeed the real ones, and not just isolated outliers cause by variance. The larger the sample, the closer the value of the estimator of that sample to the real value of the entire population is, according to the Law of Large Numbers.
@DannyJames-z7m12 күн бұрын
Not to mention just because I’m playing more hands per hour does not mean that a flush or set every 10 hands makes sense mathematically, literally impossible.
