Jessie's mom didn't enroll her, she grew up in an orphanage, she couldn't afford to go to a human nursing school because it was too costly, so she went to a Chansey school because that's all she could afford to do. The school took her money, let her go to all the classes and then at the end failed her out because she was a human and couldn't do the chansey moves that is expected. Jessie's backstory is super fucked up. Her favorite food growing up was snow because whenever it snowed at the orphanage she was allowed to eat as much of it as she wanted and she wouldn't have to go hungry.

One of my absolute favorite scenes in the Pokémon anime comes from Sun and Moon; Meowth was in disguise acting as a zookeeper of sorts who takes cares of the Pokémon that lived there, and he had a bunch of Whimsicott gathered around him, including one perched over his head, while he monologued about his evil plan before exclaiming happily, and then the Whimsicott all immediately began celebrating. To add to that Jessie episode (1:52). Literally, she was too poor, or too stupid and denies (hue hue hue) to go to human nursing school, so, next best thing for her was the Chansey Pokemon Nursing School. And that was an episode where it was with a Blissey that was friends with Jessie when she was a Chansey in a flashback of that episode. Suffice to say, because I recommend watching it. Believe it was the English name of "Ignorance is Blissey". It's a good episode, regardless of how one views it. Except Hangry Ash and Co. No mercy when food is on the table...or off the table as it were. (Hue hue hue)

Some Pokemon can understand Human Language and behave like Humans maybe they should be something between or considered Human. Almost all Digimon are also Monsters but can talk and behave like Humans. So its no Wonder if some get seen as Humans and Relationships form especially because Digimon literally has Digimon who are resembling Humans and there would be nothing wrong with that like Angewomon. For Pokemon its more Complex however but there is a Egg Category in Pokemon who is considered to be Humanlike. That would mean you know what it would mean.

I mean in the Mystery Dungeon games, you play as a Pokemon, well a human turned into a Pokemon but still. Edit:Actually X and Y, Black, White, and Black 2 and White 2 are also the games I skipped over as well, I distinctly remember talking to my brother about getting those games, but for some reason we never bought them. I think my brother and I probably got busy and forgot. For some reason my brother had Soul Silver and I never bought Heart Gold, I keep the boxes of the physical copies of games I buy, so not sure what happened there either.

I don't remember where I learned it from but I distinctly remember hearing that there was a time in Pokemon history in which marrying a Pokemon was a completely normal and presumably common thing within the Pokemon universe. I got super lucky the day before yesterday. After I beat the current Raid, Chestnaught, I went to an outbreak of Frosslass, hoping I could find a shiny. After the first 2 messages saying the outbreak numbers were going down, I started to lose hope, but then, after sending Hisuian Zoroark too far and missing the Frosslass in front of me, Frosslass hit me, starting a battle and was shiny. Cooler still, thanks to the move Ruination, I caught it in a Premier Ball. Now I've a shiny one in both Shield and Violet... though not Legends Arceus, sadly. I've 2 Yuki-Onna now.
