Ullapool caber should kill the user, but deal damage based on total blast damage dealt during the life. In other words, the more you explode stuff, the more damage your caber will do, capped at 200%-300%. 100 health in blast damage is worth 10% more caber damage. So landing 10 pills at enemies will make your caber deal 200% damage, theoretically. Of course, once you use the caber, you die, no matter how much health you have. Landing 20 pills will net you a total of 300% caber damage. And of course, the caber cannot be crit. The goal of this weapon is to end your (already predetermined) life with a bang, and the more successful you were in your life, the more rewarding your parting gift is.
