I mean Po is basically the perfect counter (Po’s belly blocks Tai’s attacks and due to Po’s recoil Tai ends up getting his strength knocked back at him) and he just fought Shifu AND got knocked down the stairs (With Po SITTING on him and crushing him the entire way). Tai also has only fought martial artists smaller than him so Tai wasn’t prepared. (The rhino guards don’t count) Plus not only is Tai arrogant and ignoring him in favor of the scroll, Po is a MASSIVE Kung Fu fan and likely has read all about him, Tai has JUST met him. Po virtually had EVERY possible advantage during his fight. Tai didn’t stand a chance.

I do agree Tai lung is a better character. But he is not the better villain
