I love Battle Royale and Pokémon so the crossover of 'Battle Royal 151!' seems to be perfect for me. Still, I made this video mostly because I wanted to talk about a specific minor character in a random episode of Pokémon. So... thanks for watching my weird ramblings on the Magikarp Man.

I know it would be hard to replicate but another anime based vide like this but more like your great video 'what if Ash woke up on time' would be so good, mixing the challenge genre with actual anime episodes to come up with teams and stuff if a certain character had done things a bit differently.

You know how, in Free Battle of Pokemon Stadium and Stadium 2, you can arrange your Pokemon on both sides of your choice? For example, I could make one side Kingdra, Gyarados, Charizard, and Dragonite's evolution group, and the other side my favorite Psychic Pokemon. Can a gamer (or two gamers connected in the game) do that for all opponents in a Battle Royal tournament?

How to do this in a real Pokémon game: You pick a single party member, and have to do a series of one on ones with a randomized pool of other trainers with only a single Pokémon in a row. If your Pokémon can last long enough (with or without items, whatever) you move on to the next round. If the league is ≈ level 60, the opponents would be level 30-50. Possible to fight many of in a row, with planning and skill.

True. My favourite League is sinnoh and all the battles were epic.... Ash Vs nando .... Paul Vs Barry .... Ash Vs Conway and Ofcourse Ash Vs Paul which is easily the best pokemon anime battle I have ever watched.... Though ash Vs Tobias was a let down.... Kalos league was also good and is in 2nd place for me.

This basically summarizes the Alola pokémon league, it was pitiful and felt like it existed only to let ash get a win That and the battle royale was pointless in itself, like why not just have a regular tourney with the characters that everyone knew was gonna win before it started?

One thing I hate about the Pokemon fandom is so many people say Ash didn't deserve this league and he should have won in XYZ. The thing is Ash had not one but 2 legendary Pokemon along with 2 extremely strong fully evolved Pokemon, that all covered each others weaknesses really well. In XYZ however, half of his team are flying types, half of his team is weak to fairy with no counters for fairy types, his XYZ team is honestly not even good but that Alola team was something else. Ash earned that one.

I haven't watched much of Sun and Moon (it just wasn't my type of show), but from what I understand, people are more disappointed with the lackluster trainers that made up most of the Alola League (even in the Top 16). The only ones (in the Top 16) who were really on the level of normal league trainers compared to the rest of the series were Ash, Ilima, Guzma, Hau, Kiawe, Acerola, Mina, and Gladion. That's only half of the Top 16, and even then most of them weren't major threats. As opposed to the Kalos League were there were several very strong trainers (2 of which could possibly have won the Alola League in place of Ash) and weren't just characters who got there best Pokemon one-shotted by the main characters.

@@DH-ns8ku Exactly.... It's not about team composition or how teams are weak to this and that .... It's how good the trainer was that actually mattered .... Ash in Kalos was a beast .... He gave the champion a run for he money with Ash Gerninja.... He had pseudo legendary pokemon and except Pikachu had a fully evolved team. And Alain was a Hella strong trainer who have defeated and elite 4 .... Ash defeating Alain in 6vs 6would have been the best reward pokemon anime could have given the long time anime fans like me... But nah....ash loses to Alain for the 3rd time. The quick battles of alola just didn't feel satisifactory at all. And finale wasn't a full battle and stuff like these does make the achievement kinda look bad. I was more proud of the orange Island and battle frontier victory than this.

So I assume you guys didn't saw ash vs kukui? You know the battle where kukui lost to ash in a 6v6 battle which lasted for 4 episodes if I remember correctly and which kukui lost even when he had a tapu koko by his side. You guys know who kukui is right? The man you fight at the end of sun and moon games aka the final battle.

@@ashopp9392 The battle against Kukui in the anime didn't mean anything though. Ash had already won the Alola League, that battle with Kukui was just for show. And looking at the Alola League on its own, it just doesn't stack up compared to the competition Ash faced in other leagues. I'm happy Ash finally won, it just didn't mean as much to me as it would have if he one somewhere else.

The Alola series has a unique art style, I think. It's a bit more cartoony and fluid, whereas prior Pokemon has had more of an anime style.
