To everyone doubting these hadiths. If a random human suddenly came to your house and says they want to take your soul, I'm sure in today's modern world you won't just slap that person but do many kore things to defend yourself. Hence, Musa A.S. slapping the Angel of Death is a pretty normal reaction at first sight. It doesn't make him a "bad" Prophet that goes against the teachings of the Quran. Please do not slander with such words for your lack of knowledge! Astagfirullah.

I think u missing a part the angel of death came in human form and said to the profeth "I came to take ur sole" then the profeth slept him ( it was in the house of the profeth) so it was a normal reaction

And Allah is Acquainted with what you do. Sorry i edited the comments to add the quranic verse but the original comment was deleted. Its very disappointing how a sheik can narrate a hadith that contradicts the Holy Qur'an. Hadiths like this make a mockery of our prophets. We should not accept any hadith just coz a sheik quotes it or it is from a famous book. The scale given by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH was the Holy Qur'an.

If you hear a saying from me put it up against the Holy Qur'an, if it correlates with the Qur'an than accept it. We need to read the Holy Qur'an with its tafsir more than hadiths first. @@hemen7996 Allah is all merciful, never think that Allah will never forgive you. Re your question the yes your parents introduced you to Islam, and now it's your duty to learn and research more so that faith enters your Hart. Do your wajib acts and stay away from everything Haram. Yes the angels will ask you questions and depending of how dilgent you were with you wajib acts you will be able to answer the questions. Start with reading the Holy Quran and the tafsir. In whatever language you know.

Subhanallah so you know better than imam Muslim RA? As for what you quoted, Allah wasn’t going to delay him, you gotta remember that Allah is all knowing, Allah knew that musa will refuse the offer, so musas decree has always been constant. And if musa accepted it, it means allahs decrees had always been to take him after the period which has “prolonged” musa’s(saws) life. Don’t forget that Allah is all knowing, and don’t put your ruling before that of the prophet and scholars.

There is good reason to doubt this story. A messenger sent by Allah swt (i.e the Angel of Death) could not have been slapped by the Prophet Musa a.s. A messenger slapping another messenger? Seriously? Both of whom show the utmost reverence to Allah swt? Reading the comments and people laughing. Its not funny. Its insulting.

@@raadmissile7232 there are Sahih hadith to this day that are being checked and classed as weak or dubious. If you know anything about hadith you’ll know that its based on a chain of narrators. Even if a person in the chain is reliable in character and a hadith is classsed as weak it does not mean that person is deliberately dishonest. It means a mistake has been made somewhere but the person conveying the narration had a genuine belief in its truth. Think carefully on tgat hadith. Is it befitting of one messenger pbuh to strike another messenger of Allah swt. So much so that the Angels eye got knocked out? Is there any other instance where an angel was attacked by a messenger of Allah swt?

But to contradict the Quran which states the purity and immaculate integrity of our Prophets yet these hadiths prove otherwise? That a prophet of God was not ready to die? Anas Osman I speak on which I know as well as anyone who understands the quality and faith of every prophet of God. To narrate a Hadith that contradicts the Quran is wrong. Think for yourself and realize for a Prophet of God to fear death and desire to see the kingdom of his people is ridiculous and contradicts the foundation of the spirituality of all our beloved Prophets. Not everything the Mufti says is true. Especially when Quran is not backing the Hadith.
