Imagine a player: - Who has won 2 slams on his worst surface (1 more than Novak and Roger on their worst surface). - Who has won more US Open titles than Novak (the greatest hard court player ever). - Who completed the career GS younger than anyone else who has done so. - Who won consecutive titles on clay, grass and hard (Djokovic and Federer have never done it). - Who won Canada + Cincinnati + US Open in the same year (Djokovic and Federer have never done so). - Who won grand slams on 3 different surfaces in the same year (Djokovic and Federer have never done so). - Who has won the same amount of matches against the other big 4 members on grass as Roger has on clay [Rafa - 6/11 (67%), Roger - 6/25 (24%)]. - Who has won at least 2 slams on all 3 surfaces (Djokovic and Federer haven't done it). - Who has beaten the greatest hard court player en route to hard court slams and the greatest grass player en route to a Wimbledon title (No one has ever beaten Rafa en route to a RG title). - Who won an Olympic gold medal in singles on a hard court (Djokovic and Federer have never won an Olympic gold medal in singles, even though clay hasn't been used in Tennis Olympics since 1992). And some people still call him "JuSt A cLaY cOuRt SpEcIaLiSt."

After that match Pico was sitting despondent, alone in the Argentina locker room, head down, when someone came up to him and comforted him. Pico thought it was the stringer, but when he looked up Rafa was there "begging forgiveness" for what he'd done to him. Rafa's a total professional and a patriot. He has to "do his work." But sometimes he feels really badly about it.

Can anyone tell me why they are using a doubles net for singles matches in the masters event whereas they use the singles net in the grandslams ? Is it a scheduling thing where in masters events they are tightly packed owing to the event being only 1 week and in grandslams u have more time between matches to change the nets as its a two week event and the matches are not as tightly packed ?
@tonisock41274 жыл бұрын
Hi :) There are a lot of masters matches in which they are using a singles net, but, it's more common in Grand Slams because doubles matches aren't usually played on centre courts (except for the final), which doesn't make the organizers stretch the net all the time.
