I mean, it's not really how it works. Usually when characters actively push characters together, it gets super annoying, really fast. But I shipped Kurumi and Yuma, so it didn't bothered me this time, but I really think they should stop with this.

At least the characters in this story recognized both liked each other and were just telling them to confess.(like z with Phinbella), so they weren't as annoying as the characters in Star vs or Miraculous about it.(which thank god!) It does also depend on the writing and how each of the characters interact, and I loved Yuma's and Kurumi's interactions.

With how much this game loves to hammer that Yuma and Kirumi are interested with each other, and I too ship those two together, part of me does have to ask; can a homunculus have children? I'm assuming yes if it between two homunculi, as there are some children in Kanai Ward, (even though it may be possible that those children might actually have never aged after they took over Kanai Ward when they accidentally murdered the entire human population, but I digress,) but what about when a human and a homunculus try to start a family?

I was thinking about this a fair bit after finishing the game too... I would assume that, at the very least, two homunculus can reproduce with each other. Dr. Huesca described the batch Amaterasu made as 'defects' only insofar as they had two crippling weaknesses: exposure to sunlight, makes them lose all sense and reason, and they lose their intelligence and memories upon revival from death. Aside from that and their immortality, I would assume they share most commonalities with humanity, including the capacity to feel love and emotions, desire freedom, and possession of other biological urges. I think it's safe to assume reproductive functions carried over too, otherwise I think we would've heard a lot more panic from people over the last three years about every woman in the city mysteriously becoming sterile. And because homunculus are based off of the human genome, it's not unreasonable to assume they and homunculus are biologically compatible. Although whether their children inherit the major homunculus traits is totally up in the air. This does make me wonder, though, if their creators had the foresight to deal with a different problem I also thought of? If you have a population which will never age or die (addressing the problem of what to with homunculus who already have 'died' is a separate discussion), obviously if people can endlessly keep having kids that's potentially a huge problem for population control. Since death helps regulate population size and resource management, hundreds-of-thousands to a few million homunculus who all stop aging in young adulthood, and who can also have children, is a unique problem. Could they be made to only have one or two children at maximum? Maybe their reproductive organs only function for a certain number of years before they automatically become sterile? Or, is Kanai Ward and general homunculus society just gonna have to self-regulate themselves One-Child policy style?

Ya, I thought about that exact same thing when I finished. Being a humunculous only changes their lifespan and aging, their blood colour, (and with defects) sunlight and dietary needs. Besides those things, they are copies of humans, meaning they have reason, feelings, and complex emotions (which we even see in the story with the meatbun stalls all being taken down due to it being inhumane). With all of this in mind, we have to assume that anything not explicitly changed by being a humunculous is left the same. They should absolutely have the capacity to procreate and the desire to do it too. Parents simply pass down and split their DNA to their children so two humunculous parents should produce a full humunculous child, same as normal humans. When you mix the two, it should split the genes of the parents and give half human and half humunculous DNA. The only thing is, what does a half humunculous look like? How would you go half berserk in sunlight, have half flesh craving, be half immortal!? My tldr, it must be possible to achieve a half humunculous, but we have absolutely no idea how it would react to the world. (Also random shower thought while writing this, what would happen if a pregnant humunculous had a miscarriage or had an embryo die inside of her? The embryo would 'lose it's mind', but it barely has a mind to begin with. It feels weird because some dead humunculous became zombies with others just becoming retarted. Would the baby try to destroy the inside of her stomach, actually die because it wasn't fully conceived, or just be more stupid when they come out? Idk, what do you think)

Homunculi do age, until they’re fully grown, then they stop aging. So a child homunculus would grow up and then just be eternally in their 20’s. The same rules may apply to a potential half homunculus. The real genetic danger is if it a half homunculus has that allergy to the sun.

I think its kind if like a jack-of-all-trades with a homunculus/human spawn. On one end they grow up like a human child but the second they die the first time they remain in this immortal homunculus state at whatever age they died at. So essentially you could have an eternal teenager after rebelliously walking out the door and getting hit by a car.
