Young people who want to achieve something, regardless of their skin color, are given the opportunity to develop, especially in South Africa. Just take a good look at the surrounding countries where influential black people are in charge. Only corruption and serious crime determine daily life there.

Many years ago I worked with a young lady from South Africa. Her family had a huge house out there but she then lived in a tiny flat in South London. She said she preferred that as she felt safe. The compound back home was more like a prison in order to keep the criminals out.

I live in South Africa...this past year our copper was stolen twice. A guy pulled a knife on me also. I have dogs but they carried weapons to handle my animals. My neighborhood is so close to the rural township where the thieves are taking the copper and selling it at an illegal scrapyard. Crooked COPS..collecting tax from these scrapyard merchants...we live in fear..every single day a house is robbed in this area...last week a neighbour was shot over copper...he died yst in hospital. Nothing is been done. I'm Indian and our lives are always in danger.

The criminals are protected in South Africa . In one case were I gave footage of them breaking in and stealing , the police went to the criminals house and arrested him and found the stolen items in his house. It went to court and was thrown out of court . Reason was insufficient evidence. This is happening all the time, courts are letting them go. Even the police are getting upset as they put a lot of work into catching criminals and all the paper work involved for what. courts put them back on the streets.

No country can be safe with a great number of undocumented foriegners. They no that what ever they touch can't be traced because thier fingers are not in sa's system. A south african knowing that her/ his fingers can be traced cannot commit crime with her or his hands naked. Most of the people who are busy with this, use it as Plan B to leave when they cannot get the jobs, not even having proper documents

I left South Africa with my family to get away from this. I took a firearm to the beach. It is a country of lawlessness. Unfortunately the wool has been pulled over the eyes of foreign leaders by this thieving corrupt government. I miss home. But my children now have a future and are safe. My grandfather (R.I.P.) who live in South Africa in the early 1980s told me about a Bridge friend who said that he had interrupted a house-robber breaking into his house through the roof/ceiling; he shot him dead. When the case came up in court, the judge asked him: "Did you fire the statutory warning shot"? Reply: "Yes, your honor - but it hit him between the eyes". (Case dismissed).

Wait till u see a guy speaking to your neighbour and next thing they walking up to your front door and i sat calmly and asked can i help u. He ran away and i looked out the window there were 3 of them. They had ask the woman next door if anyone was home and she said yes the lady looks after her granddaughter so they knew i was in the house. Next grandson was sick he came with sister and these idiots came back. It was then my neighbour came out her yard and walk down the road and discovered they had broken the padlock on the gate. Police came both days but they were no where to be seen. That night talking to my 2 youngest daughters the 1 who works shift work said while waiting tv in the lounge that week Mon to Wed night she heard tapping but looked out the window by our drive way and said she didnt think to look our the window to our front yard. They have never come back this year baby gone to playschool so im along at home but its fine my daughter's shift work has changed to 4 day on and 4 days off so i may be 1 or 2 days alone but my dog is with me all the time and im not allowed to go outside by myself.
