Some of these pundits talk so much nonsense, Graeme Souness is one of the worst. Roy Keane is one of the honest ones. England are constantly banging on about winning the competition, sometimes before a ball is kicked. Croatia even said that they used it as motivation because they felt like England were already talking about how they were going to win against France but they thought Croatia were going to be easy. Will England learn from this? Well it's 2023 and they definitely have not.

Interesting that Wright resorts to mimicking Keane's accent in an attempt to be funny. What exactly is funny about the Irish accent? If Keane started mimicking a Jamaican or Indian accent, what would he be called? In fairness to Wright, I don't think he meant anything by it, and Keane quite rightly let it go. But the double standard in British society is clear to see. Either you can take the piss out of everybody (which I prefer), or nobody. You can't have one 'rule' for the Irish, and another for people of colour.

Look at all of the knockout teams they played and won in 2020 and 2022, all shit teams. They lost against every good team: Belgium twice, croatia and Itally. They were really not as good in those tournaments. Very very lucky with the draw
