There wasn't a need for the officer to put his hands on the guy and when told to remove his hands from his shoulder he definitely did not also need to say "what the fuck are you going to do about it?" Instead of diffusing the situation he just agitated it and made it worse than it had to be. That said the guy in question still made a lot of dumb decisions and he'll have to face the consequences.

I'm not defending that behavior but I thing that happens all the time is is people getting trespessed from public property. The problem is schools are public. The public pays for them just like sidewalks, street lights, court houses, town halls, etc. Legally no one is supposed to be trespassed from those locations. However who is going to fight that in court? It might even have to go up to Circuit Court or Supreme Court if they even even hear hear it. I'm not trying to say cops are bad! They are not trained nearly enough! Look how long enough an attorney goes to school then has to take the bar exam. There's just a lot of wrong information around cops and the public's has to pay sometimes with losing their freedom. I also know the public is really wrong in their assumptions. Don't assume, talk to an attorney!

Just because you pay taxes doesn't mean you can do whatever you bloody well want to on public property, that's why you can be trespassed from it. Yes, *PUBLIC* schools are considered public property, however, PRIVATE schools are not. Thing is, you can still be trespassed if you cause problems on them because is how the LAW works and yes, the police know the laws better than you and I do. No, an attorney isn't going to help you if you get trespassed from a public place unless your actions didn't warrant it. Also, I wouldn't go being to reliant on attorneys, plenty of them have shown just how ignorant they themselves are of the laws that they claim to know.
