Girls have trouble with gold digging guys too. I had won a lawsuit in my late 20’s. (I was severely injured) obvs not gonna say the amount but it was enough that some how word got around town. All of a sudden I found I was meeting guys and dating guys who actually wanted my money. After getting burned a couple times cause my ass is generous to a fault I decided to move and never told anyone about my settlement. I acted so incredibly poor. Well not poor but poor enough that I was extremely budgeted. No one knew a thing. I went to work everyday like normal. I drove a normal car and a humble apartment. No designer clothes or anything. I was never into all that anyway. I finally met my husband. He was amazing. I didn’t tell him anything about my settlement until after we got married and I knew he truly loved me and was man enough to support his family. Once I told him I expected him to be like let’s buy this and go there and get my dream car. Nope. He looked at me and said “wow that’s big news. That will be a good nest egg for us to raise our children, get them a good education and be able to retire comfortably one day” than he carried on life like normal. Unfortunately he passed away when he was 36. And I was 31. I haven’t dated since. Nor do I care too. I’m happy now just being a mama. Thanks for listening about my life. Sorry my comment is so long.
