I have a channel the Real prince club, it's just for my nieces, but I've been working on a video series that will probably have a much bigger audience, I think I should enable it before my videos go live so I don't miss out, when my videos are new. The series is going to movie length, but in five minute segments. I was going to try to post all the videos around the same time, like Netflix does and do the 10 second commercials, but only every 5 episodes and starting at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. This is a good idea?

There's a video about it on the channel ---- Basically it says that channel name is very important. It should be catchy, memorable, easy to spell, no numbers or symbols, and should reflect the channel's content in some way :)

Its good to hear you mention the concept of ads annoying people,and how that can interfere with audience retention and how long they watch a video. I do seem to have one video that's been getting lots of views,,,,,but do I rEALLY NEED to have a bank account to get paid?Its not worth it for me to go through TAT, my last bank account had all these fees.I really do NOT need a bank now,so I would need another way.Why can't they just send checks to an address/Even if we must wait til it reaches 100 dollars.

Being monetized never made me "focus on the money", i never gave it a thought. What do you have to lose? I wasn't "worrying about the money that was totally negligable", and it didn't stop me from doing all the good stuff such as content. Knowing it might get me some money soon didn't stop me from doing anything. Watching what earned money showed me what direction to go with content almost immediately. I don't know why you are giving this advice. People don't notice ads much unless the subject takes their interest...

If your videos are over 4 minutes or so I would probably enable ads because nowadays most KZbin viewers expect ads on a video with ANY type of legit work.

When we start a KZbin channel with the intent to get out of your job and make this your business, the fundamental thing to aim for is to build your audience and not monetize it immediately. As your audience grows, then eventually it will pay for itself.
