Even the reply to your comment didn’t understand. As for me, I could only think of Geddy Lee when he played a lead on the keys and guitar at the same time, most impressive.
@thesmashfloydian4 жыл бұрын
Playing with the same rhythms and everything makes it easier, not harder. Playing two totally different things would be a lot harder. It’s an interesting gimmick, but anyone with a decent understanding of both guitar and piano should be able to do it with a bit of practice
@dr.bunterhidenbrobruh55024 жыл бұрын
@@thesmashfloydian dropped in to say the same and you beat me to it. In fact, playing a difficult keyboard line where the left hand (bass) rhythm 'fights' against the rhythm of what the right hand is doing is more difficult that playing an identical part on keys and guitar at the same time. It just seems difficult to non musicians because it's two instruments at the same time. The same could be said of singing while playing the guitar when the rhythm and phrasing of one is greatly juxtaposed to the other.

Bob Dylan heard the Hendrix version and thought the song was meant for Jimi. Look it up. Bob Dylan wrote it but many of us really dig the Hendrix version, the forest gump Vietnam scenes gave me chills as a kid with that Hendrix intro. Guy did good for doing his thing, he’s not imitating Hendrix, he’s original and that’s respectable as hell.
