None of the cops are power tripping whatsoever, they ran into a violent altercation with 2 officers and more on the way.. Arrested a suspect, got attacked, and had a violent and anti-social mob harrassing, threatening, and moving closer to them.. that refuses to listen to commands and leave. Cops arrive, got report of a violent altercation in a group of over 20+ teens-adults. Put one of the two suspects in handcuffs (Yes... the cops received information on the two suspects who were fighting.. crazy isn't it?) Teen charges police and runs at them, gets tackled, and about to be cuffed... Massive whale runs at the cops yelling, tackles and punches two of the cops... Tackled, cuffed too. Massive crowd begins forming holding phones and pushing ever closer to the police... all while threatening, insulting, degrading the officers. Back up finally arrives, and creates a barrier between the officers detaining and the crowd... Tells them all to go home... threatens to detain/arrest them to get them to leave. Teens refuse and they get more heated. Police then tell any one who doesn't live here to leave the area... Teens refuse. Police individually check the crowd of teens to see who lives here. Some refuse/lie and are detained for lying to police officers, or the crime of prowling etc. Those who do live there are warned and sent back to their home. The point I'm trying to get to you... Is... they arrested a suspect, then got charged... detained two suspects for now charging/attacking police officers... Tried to disperse crowd of angry teenagers by warning them to leave and checking who should be here as some may live here... Teens refuse to follow commands, so individually checked... Some teens have lied or attempt to leave, get detained. So you got a grand total of: # Charges # 1 Suspect - Initial fight - Possible Crimes: Assault 1 Suspect - Fighting police - Possible Crimes: Assault of a police officer X2 # No charges # 1 Suspect - Charging police - Possible Crimes: Assault/Attempted assault of a police officer 8-10 Suspects - Lied to police - Possible Crimes: obstruction of justice, prowling, anti-social

@hyponoticadreamАй бұрын
well they should’ve left
@hetbet3879Ай бұрын
So you got pressed because teenagers were threatening, insulting, attacking, lying, and refusing to follow commands.... And the police officers then attempted to disperse and de-escalate the situation by detaining those who give false information/no information, and warning those who live at the address to return home. It's not that hard lil bro. Violent altercation.. 2 cops arrive backup is coming.. cops arrest a suspect... get rushed by a teen, tackle and cuff. get rushed by a whale and two officers punched, tackle and cuff. Crowd then begins forming... Crowd threatens, insults, degrades, yells, films, pushes closer... Back up arrives and pushes crowd back, and forms line while asking all the teens to leave unless they live here, before individually checking every teen and those who lie/refuse/don't live there are detained... and those who live there are warned to go home. You're essentially mad that the police wanted to guarantee their officers safety, and prevent anti-social activity by just allowing teenagers to insult, attack, threaten police and watch the arrest. My tips for you, as you will need it: 1. Don't charge towards police officers at full speed especially if they just got called to a violent altercation 2. Don't attack police officers 3. Don't insult, degrade, or threaten police officers 4. Follow all commands given, and if illegal just report later using any evidence possible such as body cam, your own footage, and CCTV.

What was the alternative? They were told to leave, they wouldn't and also wouldn't identify themselves to say they are allowed to be there. It's private property, they causing problems according to one of the teens "it was just" the boys jumping a man, and they were told to leave you cant just say no and stay. Would you like the cops to argue with each teen individually debating the law and morals in the hope they can change their mind and get them to leave? That doesn't sound effective espeically when majority were refusing to talk. What if they still refuse, just walk away telling the land owner they said no? That's definitely not what you'd want the law to be if people were causing issues on your property and of course it isn't cops are well within the law to detain people for loitering and not quelling their suspicions by identifying themselves law is extremely clear on that.

None of them got detained or arrested for fighting so what exactly are you suing for? They were detained for loitering you're required to give a legal reason for being there and identify yourself to "quell suspicions" law is very clear on that. You don't get to stay on private property when you've been asked to leave just because you said no, the law thankfully doesn't work like that as you'd quickly realise had these teens caused problems on your property - cops just leaving them there because they said no and refused to talk wouldn't be enough for you I'd imagine. According to that girl on the phone in the video the boys jumped a man living there, I'm sure you'd quickly change your tune had it been on your property.

This is a prime example of why cops should be in or somewhat apart of the neighborhoods they patrol. There’s no way they saw a bunch of kids and decided to treat them like adults. They were attack dogs in the situation, and putting kids in cuffs will only escalate a situation. You don’t see or have these problems in yt neighborhoods because cops in those areas know parents know who kids belong too and will treat them as kids depending on how rowdy they are. But walking up to a random child you don’t know is involved and putting them in cuffs is absolutely the most disgusting way to handle that situation. A fight is a fight you flash your lights kids scatter you find a kid you can talk to, call the school and come in and talk to the whole school as police officers and address them so that they know your presence is there and the next fight will be handled more aggressively. But kids fight it’s always gonna happen putting kids in cuffs as an adult is nasty work.

I see this as a deeply frustrating and tragic cycle-one where pride, entitlement, discrimination, and poor communication all collide, escalating tensions rather than resolving them. I notice the systemic and personal failures on both sides: law enforcement’s eagerness to assert dominance and reinforce stereotypes, and young people, often shaped by their environment, responding with defensiveness or confrontation. It’s heartbreaking because I believe better communication, empathy, and mutual respect could prevent so many of these situations from escalating.

Starting at 5:45 Georgia is not a “stop and identify” state meaning you do not have to provide any identification of yourself. Asserting your fifth amendment privilege to not incriminate yourself is NOT OBSTRUCTION!!! Loitering and prowling as defined under O.C.G.A. § 16-11-36 is being at an unusual place under suspicious circumstances (why he’s asking if they live there) with possible intent to commit a crime. While the officer still can make the arrest under post-9/11 preemptive detention BS, the charges are almost always going to get dismissed from a lack of evidence. Basically the officer is using arrest as a tool of intimidation when he knows the charges of obstruction, loitering, and prowling will not stick!

Trying to convince a kid by telling them you’re not gonna believe them unless they give you an answer without a parent present is insane. For anyone that ever meets any police officer while being a minor, you do not identify yourself at all. You get yourself put in handcuffs. You let them do whatever the fuck they want and you go get a lawsuit right after because what he just did was try to manipulate a child into getting what he wants and that’s not how the law works. Nothing these kids did in front of these police officers was threatening outside of one girl that put her hands on the officer. If you’d really like to get technical, the whole reason why she put her hands on him was because he was making an unlawful arrest. Containing a child with zero reason or proof that they were involved in whatever they gotta call about.
