I resemble that remark. I got good at games like this when I was a kid and my parents would make me touch grass and sometimes that meant mowing the lawn. @@KperaOfficial

They've also probably been playing so long that the chains are also memory: you've seen the chains and tried them so often that you have a really good idea of how it'll play out, like high level chess players having a really good idea of how the game will end

I thought it was that part before it switches the first time, where it looks like he's about to complete a yellow group but then puts the puyos on a stack instead (it looked like a misinput), but no, that wouldn't have created a combo, so that was probably on purpose (and what I interpreted as a misinput was actually the player taking a split second to take in the situation and then having to act quickly before it was too late).

for the second chain: do you see on the left side there's a green that goes into yellow into green & blue popping at the same time into yellow? that's what I assume is the intended chain. the accidental chain is what actually happens when he pops the yellows on the far right

When I was young, I used to make them so a could break them down two ways so my brother couldn't stop me, but that would normally result in many smaller chains. But this man messed himself up recovered a bit and then messed up again but the error resulted in great success
