Schedule isn't far different from s1. The staffs from s1 aren't here, most of them are freelancers. They lost quiet a lot of talented artist in every show they produce aside slime s3 which they have literally ryu nakayama I think. He probably did all best cuts and began as a episode director but unfortunately not as a Serie director, otherwise he the show would've had one of the best stack of animators. Aside this yea the unnecessary side story adaption did made the Team lose it

I actually went to a panel and got to hear from some of the animators and director of Blue Lock season 1 and they are very humble and someone asked who’s the hardest character to draw and they sat in silence for a moment and all agreed saying, “All of them. Since the manga is selling so good, the production committee (Kodansha) is rushing the adaptation due to the hype (money). Again, it’s honestly sad how GREED is the problem in the anime industry. These animators need more TIME and a decent SCHEDULE to produce a good quality adaptation. I won’t say it’s for ( every show ) but if you guys would pay close attention, you would notice how mangas that aren’t really popular in sales.. have a good adaptation especially talented staff with lots of free lancers… that’s because it’s no ( pressure ) to release the show so fast. But.. since Blue Lock is literally in every top 5 or 10 in sales, they are rushing the production to generate money and they dont won’t to kill the hype of the manga. We saw this from Mappa, Uzumaki's studio, and then 8-bit studio. I'm glad the animators aren't going to stay in those exploitative companies, but man. Production Committees were first invented to help studios be able to make adaptations and projects independently, but now since the big corporations have there hands in it, it’s now just a Process used so corporations can get more money In there pockets, with zero care for the people who actually made the anime.

New Anime fans don't get it. It is a curse and a blessing. The blessing is that you will get the Anime. But any manga which goes number one gets the PNG treatment because they believe that they don't need to try hard because the fans will still watch the anime even if it is just a visual novel.

They def are, they rushed the production but definitely are gonna make u-20 look beautiful is what im guessing. I know people are crying about the animation but I found ep 3 to be very entertaining despite the animation. The season isn't necessarily bad, its just the animation. The pacing, voice acting, etc has all been on point.

What were you expecting? It's just a hyperbolized sports manga converted into a thrilling spectacle of a sports anime. I personally enjoy the art style but do agree they could have done more

This just goes to show how absolutely insane JJK S2 production team is. They had arguably less time than blue lock s2 while working on 10 more episodes and still managed to pump out the most amazing display of animation in recent years. Not to mention during the S2 production they also had to lose a few animators because of Chainsaw Man.
