Oh shit, this takes me back. I've never been very athletic or athletically talented, but I always gave everything I had in gym class (I was like only person who didn't walk through the warm up jog). My favorite game was easily Whoopie. It was like kickball, but the bases were those huge blue mats lining the gymnasium walls, you kept running around the bases until you got out, and you had to shout "Whoopie!" whenever you got back to home (I imagine to make scorekeeping easier). It was also played with a volley ball instead of one of those hard rubber balls, so you were allowed to peg people to get them out. Oh, and I was basically the Brawl Meta Knight of Four Square, in the sense that people didn't want to play with me because I kept launching the ball downward at a really shallow angle so it would hit the opponent's square and then whizz past before them before they could react.

Haven't seen the disappearing sprite glitch before, but had two things happen recently in MP that were totally shpedoinked. In one game, we all had Link and got to a pipe; everyone sword dashed it, I went in between two others, and while everyone else warp transitioned, my sprite kept walking at pipe entry speed *through* the pipe sprite. The goal was right behind it, and I walked through the base block and off the screen... as everyone else was finishing on the goal. Wtf Nintendo. Softlocked in MP by a pipe. Second time, same day, we're all sending it towards an nsmb goal. I 110% land on the top of the goal before anyone, but I think I frame-perfect died to the standardly-placed garbage at the end. I still get the pole, but the flag color and win go to second place, AND I lose points as if I hadn't touched the pole. Wtf Nintendo. Cucked by the pole. I guess the third I forgot was a level using a clown car/launcher setup that pushes the winner back, whereupon they start walking... forever. Softlocked last week by that one. Waited 10 minutes before reboot.
