I don't necessarily mind Surge not changing in NG+, cause if you're using a Symbiote Suit, it's kinda cool to go ape-shit in *that* suit specifically instead of always changing to the Symbiote Surge. But if I'm wearing a regular suit, I want Surge to cover me up in a Black Suit.

@@RadioactiveSpxdermanyes, unfortunately. It locks to the surge suit during scenes when you’re not playing as Peter. It’s as when you fight Peter as Miles. You can wear whatever you want for the Kraven boss fight, but the moment the next cutscene starts, it’s back to the surge suit. At that point, I switched back to the red and blue so he’d be wearing that when he tore the black suit off.

You would think they would have just coded the default Insomniac black suit to go over whatever suit you are wearing just like when you remove the symbiote after the Miles fight. Fail on their part. Would have been cool though if when wearing specific suits they covered you with the black counterpart. So if wearing the Raimi suit, you get covered with the black Raimi suit, or if wearing the classic suit you get covered in the black classic suit.

Yeah I was really hoping every suit would have a symbiote variant and that you could switch between symbiote or normal suit (even get a different kinda story if you choose not to use one or the other) but I get that Sony rushed Insomniac and that those are generally big asks But at the same time, they gave us so many mid suit color swaps that I'm almost annoyed so few have good symbiote suit looks. It is what it is. The game was made to play the story normally and NG+ was just an extra bonus. I don't want to say the toxic "You should be grateful!!!1!" but, I mean, it's kinda true?
