The most powerful words I ever used in my situation with my ex narc, was " I don't care" when I stopped caring, and she could feel it, she knew she was finished, I could hear the fear in her voice, that's how I knew, I was winning at her game, turning down her offers of sex, was a big blow to her, that was her weapon of choice, and it no longer worked in her favor.

Wow! This one hit me! My ex put me through hell after 7yrs, he starts acting jealous of all the time i spent taking care of my 83yr old sweet mother, so as I was having to watch momma dying, I was also getting replaced by someone that my not have had as much going on in their lives as I did at the time. God pretty much forced me to open my eyes and realize that I did not need that selfishness in my life! I have been alone for over 2yrs, my hair has grown back thick and healthy, I am not a ball of nerves that I was for all those yrs. I’ll wait patiently for God to send the right man to me, but until that happens, I’ll be spending my time with my yellow lab, “Laney” hiking, camping and fishing!! lol! I am so happy he's gone! I now have an excellent and quiet life, and I mean no drama whatsoever; I do what I want to do and when I want to do it. I come and go as I please. There is a particular gentleman who is now interested in me, but I am so happy being single that I realize I don't want him either. I never thought I could enjoy my very own company this much. I thank God for setting me free...I heard this from a wonderful lady, Pastor. “The Gift of Rejection” is definitely a gift. I have learned that there are people who are assigned to me and people who are attached to me. There is a difference & I am thankful to God that I now understand the difference between the two. Mine hoovered me on Friday just gone, never seen so many "I'm sorry" statements from one person in real life or in fiction. Took almost a year of her being with someone else to own up to her "mistakes"..and then reach out to me saying how I was her soulmate and she will always see me as "the angel who saved her"...lol..all whilst she is with someone else. I have a good mind to send him the message cos I'd be pissed if my partner sent a message to her ex like what I received..full of praise for who I was and how I made her feel.. yet when she discarded me she said he was the best thing that ever happened to her... man you cannot make this stuff up and people will not believe you if you told them it was fiction..lol..

I've been studying and learning and observing about narcs since 2021 thanks to her and am in a place that is way above where I used to be and know exactly what is going on.. I will never allow someone to treat me the way that she did, in a way I'm grateful for the experience as it makes you stronger than before in all areas... she can hoover all she wants with as many apologies as she can muster but I already know what she is... I've blocked multiple IG accounts this year but she doesn't know I know they're linked to her phone number and multiple email accounts she had when we were in a union... I appreciate your concern but I'm in a place of contentment where that individual has no emotional impact on me - it took a lot of hard work to break free of the trauma bond but they are just an angry little child masquerading as an adult.. I see everything for what it is... thanks again for your response, it's a minefield to break out of emotionally and I totally get what you're saying but once you do release that bond, their impact is non existent and laughable to see things in real time once you have the education on NA, they can stew in their weirdness, the worst has already been done by them whilst we were with them..

It's about re-securing your validation as one of their options and when they get what they want knowing youre hooked, as SOON as they sense you have even a ounce of perceived security with them again, they will rip that rug right out from underneath you so you will chase (therefore, validating that theyre wanted) through crying or asking/wondering what went wrong- meanwhile essentially doing the same thing to the other previous supply just before you and anyone else before who hasnt yet had the strength to break free (or who doesnt realize hes dealing with other people so stuck in a state of trying to "repair" the relationship) ALL while love bombing the next unsuspecting supply, triangulating the newest with more supplies that are supposedly "just friends" that he will only conveniently go on to cheat on with or leave the newest person for... Ugh. Its all so evil and calculated.

Yup. She’s posting a lot about “rage, burning connections and bridges, wearing masks” etc and people ask her why that is she says “it’s not me raging and “it’s just an observation” AND he doesn’t put up one like on those posts. Then she switches to HER blaming her self saying things like “I lie too! Blah blah (he’s obviously gaslighting her so SHE will take on accountability. Those posts he’ll comment on and love. After that and in between it’s all about her heart being broken, her searching for “deeper truth” and her being vulnerable. At the same time he goes in from fake accounts every day and looks up my stories. We know when it’s them. I can tell how confused she is because I’ve been there and used to post similar things thinking I could make him understand the pain he was causing. She’s IN for it. @@GiovanniLevoci well, it's been a year and a half, and like I said, I have only had a direct hovers on two different occasions. I can't speak on what he's done indirectly that I don't know about. He seems to be living his life with a person who is just as lowdown as he is so perhaps he's found his match. I don't care. I'm free and I won. I have a VERY strong personality and he couldn't break me in 5 years, so I doubt that he will return. They despise rejection and he knows there's not a chance in hell that I will ever take him back... and I don't think he wants back because he was forced to do things he didn't want to do... like be accountable.

Well my ex had the nerve to tell me he has a ring on layaway for me. Then he text me that his current supply is pregnant. He already has 6 children. 3 from his first ex fiancee and 3 from his ex wife. She even had the nerve to text my phone from his phone.
