RAPTURE If you want to know about the rapture, no need to look in 1 Thessalonians because for us, it's here: Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. The Church is not mentioned anymore until after the Great Tribulation. And Here: Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the WOMAN which brought forth the man child. Rev 12:14 And to the Woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Let's look up the word woman in the original language: G1135 γυνή gunē goo-nay' Probably from the base of G1096; a woman; specifically a wife: - wife, woman. As we can see the wife (bride) is the women that the serpent goes after but she is caught away. Now who is the bride, it's not the whole Church because later in the chapter we see the dragon going after the Remnant of the women (bride) which is the sleepy Church. Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. REMNANT: G3062
