For the younger audience: This team revolutionized the modern NBA Proved 3-pointers are a winning formula in basketball. Had their small ball "death lineup" of Curry, Thompson, Iguodala, Barnes, and Draymond at center that sacrificed size but made up for in versatility. Perfected a pace and space offense that many have tried and failed. And obviously, Stephen Curry. These Warrior teams were truly special.

Any neutral unbiased fan watching finals that season will see how referee tried to force game 7 in the finals after warriors took 3-1 lead. Finals are all about momentum and a lesser team can beat the best team and that’s what happened . Warriors without their centre in Bogut , Draymond suspension and phantom calls for Curry in game 6 paved the way for Cavs win in game 7. The way game 6 was officiated and Draymond was suspended which has never happened in the history before or after that ,I knew Cavs are going to win the series at warriors in game 7. I always wonder how Bron gets the excuse of injuries in 2015 but warriors don’t in 2016.

You know I find fascinating? The Warriors went on a 28 game regular season winning streak that began in the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, and ended there. The Basketball Gods were like, if thats where the streak began, THATS WHERE ITS GONNA END! But between those two games against the Bucks was a stretch that I don't think any team will come close to again. What the Warriors did during that 28 game winning streak was borderline insanity. They not only beat teams, they hammered them into submission in lethal ways. That was the equal of you playing NBA2K on rookie difficulty, and the computer playing on Legend difficulty. It was unfair on most nights. This was the Splash Brothers at the height of their powers, and what they did during this streak, changed the game forever. Now you're seeing so many teams go with that 3 ball heavy attack because they all want to replicate what those Golden State teams from 2015-18 did. Many have tried, but no one is ever going to be that potent from long range, the way those Dub teams were.

Warriors is the living proof that you don't need to chase historical records in the regular season and end up falling short in the finals. Warriors starting and bench line up is banged up due to their chasing of that 73-9 record. LeBron observed that in Game 4 as per Richard Jefferson's interview. The reason why they made the greatest comeback in the history of the NBA. Maybe that's why when they acquired KD they can 82-0 that 2017-2019 nba regular season but chose not to. In able to preserve KD, Curry, Klay, Iggy, Green, and Livingston. Too bad KD still injures his Achilles.
