Right, as someone with a peanut allergy as well mine is not as severe, I'm not gonna be halfway to death if I eat a chocolate bar that has peanuts in it, I'll get rashes an a bit of a higher temperature so I'd rather not risk it but sometimes it's really too much effort to be overly cautious of things you get served that you really wanna try, so you just eat and then worry about the symptoms later. Ofc if his allergy was really strong and he had difficulty breathing or something I'm sure he would not be so nonchalant about taking a bite but he knows himself better than any of us do.

Literally!!! I do have a severe nut allergy (all nuts unfortunately) and it’s life threatening (anaphylaxis). People already don’t take our allergies seriously since some assume it’s not life threatening so the fact people are doubting whether he has one is so shitty. Also they were filming and in my own experience, I try not to draw attention to it as much since it’s something you deal with on the day to day.

Just remember yall peanuts and tree nuts are NOT THE SAME THING. Vernon can't eat peanuts but as you can see he is fine with tree nuts. If you have a peanut allergy you usually have about a 30% chance that youll be allergic to other nuts.

Peanuts and regular tree nuts are NOT the same thing. People can be allergic to peanuts but things like walnuts, almonds, cashews, etc are usually fine with them

Guys allergies change. There's a reason you stay away from what you're allergic to. You could be fine a week ago then have an anaphylaxis seizure today. My allergies started as tingling on the tongue to full on asthma.

Good point. It is helpful to tell restaurants & similar eateries when an allergy could affect enjoyment of the food. Management doesn't want t get blamed from something they couldn't have known. It may also be that food is prep'd where traces of an ingredient may also have been. Making staff aware of the potential hazard puts the responsibility on them to be as careful as those with the allergy. That said, some preparations of hazardous allergy ingredients could affect how they cause reactions or whether they cause reactions. Peanuts are a classic example. Smoother preps like paste or butter would be digested differently from chopped, chunky, pieced or entire nuts that have natural oils that the body processes differently. Sesame seeds are classic examples of depositing tiny bits of natural oil under the skin near the mouth that may resemble rashes that seem inexplicable. Halva wouldn't do that as a paste. But they did test and research that having repeated tiny exposure reduces the negative reaction of peanuts. So if children take part in exposure therapy they went get such an extreme immediate reaction that could kill them. Same with a few other allergies. Some people stop being as allergic

Just like me, i have an allergy to some specific flowers, not all kinds of flowers.....even an allergic reaction has various reactions such as itchy skin, sore throat & hard to breath (as if you are choking) due to food allergic (mostly nuts and milk) sinus & rhinitis allergy due to pollen (same but slightly different) and etc. If you (those who don't know about allergies) you can ask me. I can ask my doctor and explain it to you either if you want me to explain it to you, like teaching a baby or like teaching an adult who can understand with simple explanations. 😉
