Carpenter for over 25 years now ....and have been around the trade since I was 15 ....seen good and the bad ...when someone is skilled at their trade it will cost you more up front but most of the time you are actually saving in the long run because a skilled carpenter will do a job that will last a lot longer than one that cuts corners to pinch pennies ....plus they take pride in the product they turn out ....it's their calling card so to speak you may do a 1000 good jobs but foul one up and that's the one people will judge you by ....

Having just finished my most recent build, box number 10xx since 1992, a 18 cu ft slot port for four DD 9515’s running off a DD M5 at 7.7k, I can agree that DD makes great subs. I will say though that the box and amp are far more important to getting impressive bass than the type of subs. The right box and a good amp will make any subs impressive, but the wrong box and/or amp will make any subs sound like garbage. I always tell people to budget most of their money on the amp and an solid custom box, then chose the subs based off that,

Heck yea DD is the best I went from Sundown ZV5, Ground zero nuclear 15”, JVF 15” , Cerwin Vega Stroker old school 15”, and my 3 Resilient Sounds Teams 18” and the best I have by far is my two 9915 b supercharged they take 9k watts each after ohm rise the cone area they cover is insane, those 15” have as much cone area as my old ZV5 sundown 18” and my Resilient Sounds Teams 18” plus the supercharged makes them so efficient even those it’s a 80 pound magnet it does exactly what the Teams 130 pound magnet does and even more efficient

That R.F makes all the difference in the world. I'm a firm believer in I'd rather have a great amp and so-so woofers than a shity amp on great woofers. But those DD are no joke. I might have to try them out on my t2500bdcp, right now I'm running my 2 b2 audio 12s....love them.

@@jaysonoliveira4752 you’re correct the smart 3 is better then the 2500 and it does 3k at 2 ohm. When comparing what will do better Sheer output is more noticeable then sound quality. Although the sound quality of an amp is easily fixed with a dsp. So I’d much rather have a cheap Brazilian that has statistically better output numbers then something name brand and overrated like a t2500

DD audio can give you clean low bass to but it want handle as much wattage as the CT meso. It just depends on volume, your amps wattage, and how you set up your EQ.💯

2 -15s will be louder 150+ Db if done proper. A 142db is not very loud at all any 2-12s setup done right will be louder. He has a small short cabin too that's y he is able to achieve a 142db

U need to tune your headunit to clean max volume with desired sub level on headunit just make sure your amp is not clipping and stereo and amp are in sync set clean . Yes u will introduce distortion if u turn up the sub level 😆 💯
