Sadly, Australians will often embrace a player like Hewitt because of his poor behaviour on court. The Australian public, by and large, have no issue with N. Kyrgios, for example. Hewitt and Coria had not dissimilar games; Hewitt attacked more than Coria, though, which got him over the line in this match. Unlike Hewitt, Coria really did fade into obscurity, especially once D. Nalbandian became Argentina's great (and far more respected) champion.
