This is helpful... Calculated column consume a lot memory of if the table is big and eventually it slow the performance of the dashboard. This also should be kept in mind.

Bingo... That said, sometimes they offer better DAX writing experience (especially when you are learning or building your first few models)

Hi, A long pending doubt which I am unable to find. If we have a table on a website we can directly pull it from Power query but lets assume we have hyperlinks in column 1 of the initial table which leads to further tables, how can we fetch them and handle in dashboard? Thank you Chandoo, i have a question, if in the table the quantity is not summed up, so when we pull the country field and quantity field in x axis against revenue(new column created by units price * quantity) in y axis for a bar chart, the quantity will be showing as count of quantity and there is no option for change it to sum of quantity. what to do in such a condition. pls help

Hello sir, I have a table "table_Orders" which contains order id and bill_amt. I have created a measure Order Value = SUM(table_orders[Bill_amt]) I want to know order_ids which are having bill_amt greater than average bill_amt I am using a measure Good_Orders = CALCULATE([Order Value],table_orders[Bill_amt]> AVERAGE(table_orders[Bill_amt])) But when I drag order id and Good_Orders in table view I am not getting the view. but in card I getting the value. what is my mistake and solution?
