There is no fixed time or day to change the stoma bag, but companies that manufacture stoma appliances recommend a stoma bag change at least once every 7 days.
1:11 Should the single-piece stoma bag also be changed every 7 days?
A one-piece stoma bag may need to be changed on the second or third day itself; if you manage well, it may last for a few more days, but keeping a limit of 7 days is good practice.

The flange of the two-piece bag is durable and may last longer than a one-piece stoma bag.
