My brother is serving a life sentence in NYS. He has been at Clinton, Attica, Sullivan, and now Coxsackie since Sullivan is closing. He said his head is always on a swivel, and there is always something to be worried about. Thanks Fish for your channel. I appreciate all the info but feel sad for what my brother is going through. No matter what he did, he will always be my brother and I still love him.

Sorry to learn about your brother, and yes, they are serious places. Just let him know that you're there for him, and I'm sure he will do what he has to do in order to take care of himself.

One of the first things I learned in the county jail was to sleep all night with your back to the wall with your arms outside of your blanket. Also if you had the top bunk, never let your blanket or sheet hang below your bunk simply as respect for the guy below you.

There are many rules to follow, but if a person has common sense they will be okay

Never been to jail or prison but I agree that the way they are administered and run is for financial gain not for the benefit of society. I would have no problem if you were my neighbor Yet you were locked up a long time and we (citizens) are told it’s because they (prisoners ) are bad people. Some are some are not. There are people who never have been arrested that I would never turn my back on. You are a good humble guy and I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Keep putting out the great content. Thank you

@@mtsaz100 I really appreciate your words and I thank you for watching the channel. We are always told that the men in prison are bad people, but when you look at our politicians, they are criminals with suits and ties. The truth of the matter is many men in prison made a mistake that they regret and wish they can take back. The politicians live incorrectly and illegally every single day as they smile in your face.

@ I remember the Visitors ParkingArea was up a Big Hill, we walked down a long flight of stairs to the Visitors Entrance Area. There were a few placards on the Wall.

I wouldn't ever want to leave my cell. Have you ever watched the movie Shawshank Redemption ? Thank you Fish.

@@donnapittman6135 of course I have seen that movie a dozen times. It is a great movie that is pretty close to reality besides a few things.

Just think ... if prison was different, how many PHD's would be coming out? 📖 📕
