Change Nikkes automatically during auto combat is actually a pretty neat option. While playing "no hands" mode you might want to cycle between your Nikkes to get a different view every once in a while but you might be... too busy to change the view manualy so that option helps ;)

i tend to use auto mode but keep burst manual then adjust aim manually if needed

It really depends when to auto or not. On occasions I just auto and cleared stages I wasn’t able to clear. Because when manual during burst, all units will focus on the one rapture clicked, whereas auto and afk, the units will aim and clear different raptures which is helpful sometimes. Most of the time I’ll just switch between auto and manual and it works well for me. As for the switch between nikkes option, it’s for players to watch the battles like a showcase during auto. Full auto clear 23 24 on the chapter launch day (except 24 boss manual) and used that option to spice things up. Same goes with screen shake for some players.

Even with auto if you manually drag the crosshair, during burst everyone will shoot where you are shooting Semi auto ftw

You still need to pick and choose your Nikkes, choose the formation, which affects the order the skills are activated, you have to level them up, level the necessary skills, choose which Nikkes you'll advise and get closer to, among many other things and all that will definitely affect how the combat plays out. There is a lot of choice and strategy involved so it never actually feels like it's the game playing itself. Rather, auto mode just confirms you built a great team. And as stated in the video, the key to win in this game is knowing when to play auto mode and when take control on your own hands.

Something i wanted to add on the Auto vs Manual Bursting is that depending on the characters burst they can also at times get skipped over. For example say you have Rupee and Blanc. Rupee's skill has her needing to specify a location for her burst to activate meanwhile Blanc's you just simply need to use. There are times where auto will simply skip over Rupee's if there is no valid target on the field for her to specify her burst to focus on.

Yeah I've also noticed that in auto, if your nikke's burst necessitates a target, but there are non as you have cleared them and are waiting for more to appear, then it will just sit and wait in burst 2, which can sometimes cost you the full burst if the timer runs out. This is not by any means a common issue, it's very hard to let the timer to burst 3 run out before more enemies appear, but it has happened to me before. My team has 2 burst 3 dps, and the leftmost one is Summer Sakura which needs enemies to do dmg. If both her and Snow White are off cool down, I'm in burst 2, but there are no enemies left for a time, in auto the game will just let the timer run out, essentially making the next bursting rotation longer.

I feel the term 'Idle' is a very misleading term for Nikke. In essence, it has idle mechanics such as passive resource generation, but this game isn't really an AFK game as advertised. It's about as idle as Honkai Star Rail when you can bulldoze through the content. The game very much demands your attention when you aren't overpowered for the content. As such, you've explained manual mechanics very well. Here's hoping your channel grows because this is good stuff.

I play manual when I have to (EX stages) and when I lose. Otherwise, setting up the correct Burst rotation with squad setup is enough.

With your guides. I just auto interception for a long time. I didn't think I had the units, geared enough, to max them. I can max some. I need to turn off the auto switch. That screws me over so much.

I pretty much always play auto with heavy intervention. I’ll slap it back onto manual real quick if I want to reload for an upcoming wave or switch to manual burst if there are only like 2 enemies left and Modernia’s burst is next in the queue.

KZbin recommend me this video and I must say, you actually cover up everything for auto vs manual in this game. Just one more thing to add, Noise is also one of those unit where you need to play manually for her full potential, since you can spam increase Max HP and taunt if you use full charge and timed it right. Very usefull against Blacksmith and Train.

Okay, very unpopular opinion here I know, but I'm actually curious about all the hate for rosanna.. I've seen your rating vids and see her as absolute worst level of classification.. I'm happy with her in my main roster for campaign levels, interception and even PvP so.. what am I missing? She has a higher rate of fire than emma, so I can use her manually to destroy glass raptures quicker, is an overall trash rapture cleaner and fits well with atk boosting support units, especially on missions where some of my other units die... I'm currently using her, the bunnies, emma and little snow white and she's almost always top dps... what gives?

Early game content of nikke doesn't rely too much from team comps and synergies. Rosanna's Kit is just bad. In order for her kit to work you need 1 unit to die which is not ideal. As of right now there's no content that will make 1 or more unit die in a stage hence she not worth it. You can use her in some cases but for late game she will get benched 100%

Hello Mr.Pseychie.. im a new player at Nikke.. i start playing 1 month ago.. i feel stuck at chapter 15 and my battle power is 50k CP. i just wanna enjoy the story but the story was like being 'gatekeeping' from new player like me bcz i need to reach a certain CP to be able clear the next campanye content.. and my resources like credits and other material are running low even tho i try to save some. And the only method i could rely on at the moment was daily interception and the afk resource daily to be wipe out.. Any advice you could give me how to get high CP faster?
