Asstyogi : never gives recommendation but knowledge. Labour law adviser: this guy always gives honest thoughts about different investment options. Bull trackers: he does give recommendation or his opinion but ignore it and utilities other analysis.

What he mentioned was outright correct. same thing happened with me when i bought Pidilite industries at 270 and sold at 600(now 2600) . KEI industries at 43 and sold at 230(now 2300) . Bought Britannia industries at 1300 and sold at 1700(now 4000+) with the thought that I would buy them back. It does not happen you get influenced by other factors and might end up buying a fundamentally bad company or might fear the stock might go down further. Let the business cycles do the job. Let the volatility do its job. All you need to do is stay put until and unless there is something fundamentally wrong in the company(fraud,scam ,too much of leverage etc) . If I had stayed invested in the stocks I invested in 2013(there are winners and losers like (Yes bank,Lloyd electric,Spicejet ) I would have made 20% cagr (excluding dividends) until now without rebalancing the portfolio. In the longer run you will give more time for winners to play out and impact of losers in portfolio diminishes gradually and get rebalanced automatically optimizing your returns.

I don't think holding has worked for anybody in this 'kangaroo' market over the last 2 years. By the time the Outlook for an industry changes it's already too late to exit and most of the gains in your investment have already eroded this making it a poor exit.

Aur apane bhalehi exit plan banaya par share price maximum hoga isaka kya bharosa ? Kayi shares aise hai apane agar time par beche nahi to fir vo high price apako delhana mushkil hai ? Dear sir, This is the first time, I'm watching the video. I loved the part where you've explained how an investor becomes a trader. that's your thought process because you're very new to the market. market gives you opportunity to make money in short term every year at least twice or thrice and you should take that opportunity too. in this case you should have 2 different demat accounts. one for holding stocks for the longest horizon and other for small profits from opportunities. no worries, you will learn market strategies with time.
