Money not lost spends as well as money won! Also you are always even. Cost myself some profit because I couldn't help myself selling calls on XPEV. I did take a profit and completed my wheel and I also reduced my exposure to the EV sector since I was overweight on XPEV and Nio. So anytime I complete the wheel I feel good. But I do tend to force trades on my wheel. I am making money but the way Chase calculates my P+L YTD it does not count loosing puts (where I get assigned) or loosing calls (where I get called away) as profit/ (accounting wise this does not impact my actual increase in cash position of course). I do always lower my profit margin on trades as well. But you are so right, it is better to be tight aggressive rather than loose aggressive forcing trades. As a former poker player it is sort of like playing all your j-10's and marginal hands(which I do too much). The thing is as a trader,(or poker player) at least for myself i get cocky and like to see how many good decisions I can make in marginal situations. But it is probably best to keep powder dry. On the other hand it is a balancing act, so selling your calls a bit early into a bull run does get you cash and makes you feel a bit better about getting out of some of the puts you sold on the way down. In any case I really need this video, because I will go into monday with 50k in dry powder. My primary conviction is that I am bullish on AAPL, so I am really considering selling in the money puts on AAPL if it trends lower monday (I have a 125 call already sold this week), so considering selling a 123 put into weakness(if it happens). Hey I am comfortable owning AAPL at 123 if Markus is comfortable owning it at 133!

I know these videos seem super common sense, but they're super useful. Finally have capital freed up for implementing some PXO trades after watching them for a month, but nothing comes up. Lol. Was hoping for some ideas during the ugliness.
