When the wave is pushing towards you, you go to the sidelane and push it. When its in the "pressure zone" you either group for an objective or recall spend gold and push the other sidelane

I always thought that you should stay in the lane to pressure as long as you could to make two or three enemies come to answer, then tell your team to push something in or take an objective somewhere else. For example, I played a lot of Yorick last season. I would reach the level where at least two people needed to respond to me if I was left alone in a side lane, so I would tell my team, "hey go get an objective while half their team tries to kill me." They never would, of course, but I figure that's a sound strategy right? You're making more than one person respond to your pressure, which makes it easier for your team to force something somewhere else.

If you're iron it isn't because you're not splitting properly. It is most likely because: You die too much, you don't farm and your builds/runes are incorrect.

What's also important to take away fron this video's underlying important lesson is to always play with intent If you're shoving bot look if you can ward around dragon/the enemy's blue/scuttler. If those aren't there go for the same things top, if that is there then: Group with your team or slow farm bot or top whichever objective will soon be up on either side.

can you do a high elo version? Because in master / grandmaster & challenger completing the rotation will not generate kills anymore. Instead you have to look and hover only and take additional camps either from opponents jungle or your own, like krugs / crab / enemy gromp / wraiths etc. Good video! ++

This is especially for if you play nasus,because this is where actually he becomes one of hardest champions to master and with nasus you have kill pressure and splitpush power since level 6 and sheen which in side lane (DO NOT RUSH IF NOT NECESSARY,INSTEAD TAKE BOOTS IF YOU FAVOUR HAVING RESISTANCES OVER DAMAGE IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS)which means enemy will have to seond 2 pepole aginst you since you favour 1 vs 1s so you can or hold them hostage with presence or leave wave ASAP,forcing number advantage situation where teleport would be more useful but ghost/flash is still favourable becasue you get too sticky to kite,but if enemy dosen't respond start actually pusing it full force and try to end the game but look out to not get caught in process,this can be applied to any other toplaner in general favouring splitpush over teamfighting and monkey teammates intestifies

When I played Teemo against Riven. The Riven rekt me and took both my towers, but when I got to level 6, I started shrooming the jungles then focused on split pushing. I fed her so I hard, I planned on pushing to their Pressure Zone then left to grab their camps and shroom their area as well. Although I wasn't helpful to my team as I fed, I slowed down Riven and their Jungler by shrooming up the jungle so they took damage and be slowed when they tried to roam down to mid meaning they had to focus on clearing the wave at top and either find my shrooms or hunt me down. Although I thought I was a liability to my team, I was still helpful by split pushing. They also got mid and bot inhibiters, so idk what they were up to, but somehow.... We won that game because of my split pushing. *TEEMO ONE OF THE MOST ANNOYING CHAMPIONS IN LEAGUE*

I hate how much I can relate. We lost the last game because while top and me were splitpushing our support Rakan randomly walked into enemy jungle and started attacking the blue buff alone. He got caught, teammates followed him and died too, end of game.

usually what happens is everyone just arams mid, and either I am not contested, or 5 people contest me in which case I just straight up have to back up or die because 5 contest me, either way my team eventually loses 4v5s because they still take the teamfight and I still feel helpless, I think the main reason why I lose games is because of a bad laning phase but still its annoying when I have no impact because we lose every teamfight

When I do this, what happens is: 1. My team decides that when I'm clearing bot or top, it's the perfect opportunity to engage, die 4v5, and cry in all chat to report me. 2. I lose cs because the enemy doesn't come to collect the wave I pushed and it kills all the enemy minions. And it's pushed too far up for me to come and safely crash the wave into the enemy tower. If I do that, I likely get collapsed on by the entire enemy team while mine is using that situation as a perfect occasion to put pressure elsewhere on the map by farming raptors or recalling to buy 2 potions. Is there a way to prevent the above from happening? Does the strategy above require your teammates to know what you're doing or is there a way to work around that? I know I'm salty but I just can never find a good time to clear a wave in a side lane when everyone else is playing ARAM.

I was playing a game as vayne vs a miss fortune Leona comp, my support was a bard , we lost lane and I told my team I would stay bot and farm a bit because vayne with only a Cutlass is pretty worthless, of course I got flamed for farming bot, flamed over and over, but in the end even though we lost mid inhib I came back with a couple of items and face rolled the enemy team, I don't understand why my team kept fighting 4v5 while behind but there it is, after coming back and carrying I got flamed in the after game chat too...oh and our jungler inted twice 1v2 bot lane and he was the one flaming the hardest.

by the time i typed an essay and told my team not to engage and pushed, they get engaged/they engage die/get aced or they have zero to no pressure whatsoever, even after i bring 2/3+ ppl towards me, they are wandering around, and later died to them and i ended up getting pinged. warding and hiding and waiting for their rotation on me to pass does not work either. only guide is needed to know when to dodge, understanding the comp and the teams competence seeing their pick. thats the only thing that matters. how the other bots will fair with the champs they are piloting even after playing like shit 24/7 of the "laning" phase

I don't really know man I got demoted to plat 4 for 4th time . I really just wanna give up playing top. I win lane 80 per of time. Then perma split. Force 2 to come defend. While my team loses 4vs 3. Because enemy bot is ahead so they can carry. I just feel like games aren't meant to be carried by 1 person anymore even if u r really ahead . It's more of better teams or bot wins now.

How does pushing give you a CS advantage if you are sending them right into the enemy area where you can’t get close to farm them due to tower or champion?

The wave will slow push to you after crashing in the enemy tower, giving you time to roam. It will be close to your tower when you come back, so you can farm safely. It's pointless to do it if both you and the enemy are in lane though, other than diving or recaling

To me sound like bullshit this strategy. I mean it makes sense, but in the case of Aatrox and Sylas, Sylas applied the same strategy of Aatrox, with the big different that the 4v5 was started before Sylas collected his minions. In the end the voice said Aatrox did the right choice, but indeed both played the same strategy.
