I’ve just been prescribed this to help me conceive, very low AMH 0.3 and family history of very early menopause. I have been advised to take 25mg 3 times a day then I’m starting a Clomifene monitored course in the new year. My egg reserves appear to be very low. Fingers crossed this supplement helps. I suffered a miscarriage and D&C in August 2022 but had a successful pregnancy in 2015 with a live birth. I’m also focusing on a Mediterranean diet and not spiking my insulin often, and I’m exercising moderately and focusing on getting quality sleep. I have followed you for a while now and love all of your perspectives on modern medicine. Thank you!

I'm 48 and noticed that when under stress my hormones feel out of balance. I take some DHEA and get right back in balance. My understanding is cortisol robs your body of DHEA when you are stressed then you don't have enough to make the other hormones and you get out of balance.
@m.d4375
@m.d4375 3 жыл бұрын
Cortisol is a testosterone antagonist, DHEA helps reduce the effects of elevated cortisol. But to be clear DHEA is only a very small part of how your body secretes hormones, the majority of your hormones will instead be produced in the gonads when signaled by gonadotropins.

Deplete all your fluids by making full use of your high testosterone. Work out like crazy. Lift weights and sweat it all out. Then exfoliate in the shower.
@m.d4375
@m.d4375 3 жыл бұрын
@@asparrow9876 I mean I'm not surprised given the whole channel is based on pseudo-science most of the time. Working out/lifting weights increases testosterone in men whilst it does nothing in women. And let's be clear you can't 'sweat out' testosterone, exfoliating or showering will have no impact on testosterone. And besides the hormone is closely balanced by a feedback loop anyways. As for Cris, it could be high testosterone but its also a big assumption to make if sebum production is the only symptom, its actually more likely to be something else.

Next to that I use a Progesteroncream ( from Yamroot) with fytoestrogen. Thus far, the latter two work. Is it however wise for me to use a DHEA supplement? I seen another video by someone else, and they recommended taking it in the morning, because that when the body would normally ne producing it.. I have been taking it in the evening with the rest of the supplements.. Should I switch to taking it in the morning instead? Main reason, is to have everything in my body when it's resting and healing.

DHEA should be taken in the morning, that is when the body produces it

A little bit. You should take it with NAC to protect the liver in the same time than DHEA.

Except this: Shrinking your testicles not a good idea. The main issue with this supplement is related to the natural feedback mechanism that occurs in the body with the presence of elevated DHEA. The DHEA aromatizes to esterone, which provides negative feedback to the anterior pituitary to suppress luteinizing hormone, which removes the positive stimulate production of the testicular production of testosterone.
@ThierryPianoSolo
@ThierryPianoSolo Жыл бұрын
You're wrong. DHEA has not a feedback loop. It's not testostérone...

@@ThierryPianoSolo that is science literature so yes, dhea aromatizes to esterone, and lowers lh. so yes, thia is correct and its just a fact science describes.
@ThierryPianoSolo
@ThierryPianoSolo Жыл бұрын
@@forgeteverythingyouknow5413 That's not the problem. You take DHEA (pre-hormones), not hormones. So there are no feedback loop. That's always the body who creates hormones, so there is no atrophy of testicules per example (like if you take exogenous testosterone). ;)
@forgeteverythingyouknow5413
@forgeteverythingyouknow5413 Жыл бұрын
@@ThierryPianoSolo luteinizing hormone from the pituitary is required to cause the gonads to produce testosterone. DHEA, aromatize is to ESTERONE , which lowers LH, which is luteinizing hormone, which is needed for maximum testosterone levels… I have no clue certain to continue talking though… But folks look it up themselves.
@ThierryPianoSolo
@ThierryPianoSolo Жыл бұрын
@@forgeteverythingyouknow5413 So the problem is only when you have an excess of DHEA. Supplementation is only to restore normal levels, and it will not shrink your testicles, right? Of course, every person has to monitor their levels of DHEA every 3 months when they're taking supplements like this.
