Thanks again for reminding us of this wonderful video, Teacher! There is no a whole rule about proper choose between these two verbs; to make or to do. We have to listen to as many sentences as possible with these verbs, saying by the teachers or native speakers in order to remember the correct speech!

Teacher Mike, what about sports in general, which is better to say, do sport or practice sport? Is there a difference if we use British or American English? However I know that we use do/play/go when we're talking about a specific one. Thanks a lot for your amazing videos 🙂

It depends. If you are actually practicing and trying to improve at something, you could use PRACTICE. For example, with karate or taekwondo, you would use DO or PRACTICE because those are not games. However, football is a game, so you could use PLAY or PRACTICE, but PLAY is more common. Also, in the US, we say SPORTS. In the UK, they say SPORT.
