This was really good. It explained the components of typography indirectly through its application, then it explained a lot of different font categories and subcategories based on typographic choices, and then it also gave some design reasoning for choosing one font over another for a certain purpose. Thanks to the TOC it also can be used as referenced to come back to later while doing actual design work. Thanks a lot for this video.

Great tutorial!! Perfect for beginners and a great refresher for veterans of design. Btw, I love Envato, but wish it had a type tester.. I’m designing a logo, and it gets cumbersome to download just to try… am I missing a way to try fonts out with a specific word / name?

I like the details provided on the font types. But, it doesn't actually tell you much about how to use them. For some types it doesn't say anything at all. So the title is inaccurate
