Similar to mj's line everybody's bringing up.The meaning is also similar to giannis line "dont call me mvp..." So the real deal is : its not over (game, series, seazon, career etc) till its over. Just like kobe's line : job's not done. Wich is the exact opposite of what most do. Luka didnt get mj mentality in one game giannis didnt turn in who he is in one night mj him self didnt do it in one night or a year. Hard work, trying again and again to improve alot of time and of course talent. Nothing magic about being the greatest. Only determination motivation skills effort and time. Wich most dont understand or have.

There was one man I remember in the 90s that not only was not scared of trash talking Michael Jordan, but that actively seeked him out and provoked him in every game they played, even if MJ was going hard on him and beating him, this player would still do whatever he could to make sure Michael Jordan came hard after him. It was Drazen Petrovic. Before his death in a car crash, when he was playing for the Nets, Drazen would always look forward to playing against Michael Jordan, because he too had that mentality, he looked for that pressure, loved that pressure. He saw Michael Jordan as man that he had to step up to, and defeat. He did this because he was not scared of Michael Jordan. Toni Kukoc once told in an interview that before the Gold Medal game in Barcelona 1992, everyone in the Croatian team was like "Okay, well, this is it, we made it, Silver Medal is for us." but not Drazen. Drazen Petrovic entered that court against the original USA Dream Team thinking "We can win this. We can beat this guys." Drazen had that predatory mentality, and I always feel sorry that he died so young before we could all see what his peak was while playing in the NBA, what kind of player he would have become eventually.

Why didn't you come back here 2 weeks ago when they played each other? Oh nvm that's right Book scored 46 pts on 74% shooting with the highest +/- out of any player on both teams by far (+33) You Luka fangirls are weird. You'll sit here and bring up stats from random regular season games where they didn't play each other as proof that "he's always one-upping him". But if I bring up the fact that Book is 10-3 vs Luka in the reg season, suddenly it's "regular season doesn't matter".😂 I never want to see Luka fans saying regular season wins don't matter anyways after Luka failed to get enough reg season wins make the play-in last season. 😭

@KingNekro 2 ай бұрын
@@AidanCran Bro Luka has yet to even win a conference championship. 😂 He's struggling to make the play-in lately. The way yall talk about that win vs us, you'd think it WAS Luka's championship. Because Mavs fans never want to talk about how Luka proceeded to lead them to a 1-4 exit in the WCF against a Warriors team that honestly wasn't that great anymore imo.(their road to winning the championship was just weird) The funny thing is, from my perspective as a Suns fan, YES LUKA IS AN AMAZING PLAYER and did great in that series. But as a whole I never looked at that series as such an impressive win for the Mavs. That series was a prime example of how badly a franchise can shoot themselves in the foot. Internal drama between the players, abysmal coaching,and even the owner of the team in a public scandal. The Mavs simply got the Suns at the perfect time, when there was so much drama going on behind the scenes, and the head coach was more concerned with shit talking his own players than making adjustments. Monty didn't even try to make a single adjustment even after Kidd adjusted and the Mavs defense clearly had the Suns offense figured out. It was the same story in the Finals vs the Bucks and even last year vs the Nugs. He even let the Nugs go on a big run early in the game without calling a timeout, just like he did against you guys in that game 7. He's just dogshit, and now he owns the prestigious title of owning the worst losing streak in NBA history. Then you got CP3 turning 37 and running out of gas, disappearing that entire series. If he even gave HALF his normal impact, that series never goes 7 games. Shit, it didn't help that Moron Monty was allowing him to continue bringing the ball up the court while getting full court pressed the whole game. Then we have the drama with Ayton, Crowder, and Monty which was so bad Ayton completely stopped trying and Crowder sat out the entire next season demanding a trade. Monty admitted to never even talking to Ayton a single time in the off season, even though Ayton was in contract negotiations. Etc etc theres so many more issues, like the Suns resting so many game at the end of the season. Completely took them out of their rhythm and chemistry, we'd already saw how it affected them against the Pels... they just didn't even look like the same team who won 60+ games. But at least in that series CP3's legs were still fresh and he was managing to run the offense. None of this is an excuse for how Booker came out shooting like shit to start that game 7. It's obvious he was collapsing under the pressure, especially seeing his teammates not giving any resistance on D. But if not for the drama surrounding the team, there was no reason the rest of the team should have collapsed like that too with the game getting out of hand so quick. Like I said the Mavs had Monty's system completely figured out and no adjustments were made. It should have never been expected of Booker to just go out there and run iso plays into double teams and somehow turn lemons into lemonade. After playing a whole season where he wasn't even the primary ball handler and rarely ever ran iso plays.

In game 7 at home, where every team had won at home, we lost by 40. And it was pretty much over after the 1st. I think calling Booker soft is fair but he still has that killer instinct unlike CP3. What did CP3 do in the finals? At least Booker dropped back to back 40-point games to help the team. At least he put up a 40 point triple double without CP3. This is one bad game that he has to move away from but Booker definitely isn't "from the same cloth" as CP3 imo.

Luka is definitely going win Rings in his career. He's smart, a team player, and has a lot of mileage on his veteran playstyle. All he probably needs is another really good two-way player that can space the floor with him. Most of the time he gets contested by 2-3 people going on the inside, forcing him to take tough shots but they still go in because he's that good.

Brutal takedown, but so true. Funny how the Warriors just cruised past Dallas by making Luka play defense, earn his points with tough defense, and wear him down until he became inefficient in the 4th. Still, with all that, he was hitting big shots right until the end. As a Warriors fan, he was definitely the hardest player to stop that they faced all playoffs. You might not have noticed this, but Draymond and the other Warriors were extremely complimentary to Luka the whole series, even helping him off the ground during live play. They knew which bears to poke and which to avoid.

Correct on all points. Luka does have that killer instinct, even if he has an off night he's still out there having fun and soaking up the energy. His own coach said that he thrives on the big moments. He reminds me of Jordan like that, someone talk smack and piss him off and he went on a run and destroyed them. I think Jordan saw it in him too which is why he signed him right away.

This video is just WRONG. Everyone's lambasting CP3 and Booker rn. I get it. It's become a meme and everyone's jumping onto this bandwagon. But yall just seem to forget that CP3 put up a 14-14 perfect performance in the close-out game aginst the Pelicans. Booker was able to score big time and helped the Suns go on a 8-0 run in the bubble play in games. The last thing I expect is this channel, which shows to be stats based and objective, chooses to ignore the stats aginst his argument and even straight up fabricate them. For the record, CP3 has a 3-4 game 7s record before this series and NOT a 0-7. His performance in the previous game 7s are nothing short of an all star, averaging 20.6 points, 9.9 assists and 5.9 rebounds. Maybe they were just having an off night, just as what Jimmy EXACTLY suggested in the KD vid.

The Warriors just have too many weapons. If one of Steph, Klay, or Poole has a bad game, chances are they'll be fine. If Luka has a bad game, it's good night for the Mavs. Brunson and Dinwiddie would have play their butts off and even then, there's no guarantee that they'd win.

Bro!! I have to tell you something. My teenage son and I have been watching and listening to you for the past 4 or 5 years. At times when I have had difficulty explaining things to my son, I have often told him to go watch your videos and learn a little something. So I totally appreciate you, bro! I am glad to see that you have blown up, and you deserve the accolades that you receive. It's not easy to find, discuss and prove valuable and relevant issues concerning this game of basketball. But, you do it, and you do it so well, and you back it up after searching through many hours of NBA video. May the good Lord continue to bless you for your passion and your gifts to us former Old School basketball players, coaches, and now just fans. ;-)

I'm a forever Suns fan from a very young age. I experienced the ups and the downs, the years of title contention, the decade of being the absolute worst in the NBA, etc. I have to say that this season without a shadow of doubt is the most embarrassing season in Suns history and the hardest pill I've ever had to swallow for my favorite team. We've seen talent traded away or disregarded, undervalued, and poor decisions from management. But to see a very talented, very capable Suns team crumble from their own lack of sheer will power and competitive spirit is the most crushing defeat. I don't think the Suns will recover from this anytime soon and any pride that the organization has in what it means to be a Suns is diminished. No player with a winning spirit will want to don a Suns jersey. I hope I'm wrong but great video regardless. This one was necessary.
