Idk... The hand axe is kinda sick in duels. Dex build, hand axe, off hand parry shield. Pretend like you wanna parry everything, they run up to you and stand there thinking you're gonna parry, axe them in the face lol

So i know that greataxes overall aren't the best weapons but i'm not quite sure why you used the crescend moon axe...? I feel like that one is comparatively one of the better choices, it sure as hell is better than shortsword or hand axe.

another off-meta weapon that you might be interested in could be mace, it's short but has good damage overall, and probably the best part of it it's that the 1h heavy attack has hyperarmor and it can rollcatch. so if you combine it with another off-hand weapon like halberd you have a lot of options.
