Yea, he can be pretty annoying sometimes but I think there's a level of authenticity with DN that you rarely get with other pros. There's a lot of shady people out there and assholes in this game but without having met the guy, I feel DN is a pro who speaks his mind and is also a "man of the people" who brings pros and newcomers together in a unique way. He's good for the sport.

The poker world is full of shady douche bags, and this is a video about two of them. Let's be honest, poker attracts the whole spectrum: from the morally ambiguous to the outright criminal. Some rare exceptions aside, you wouldn't want to be friends with any of them.

They're both fairly scummy people in real life, Annie Duke is just slightly more scummy than Daniel Negreanu. Negreanu is much better at PR than most poker players.

There is a reason that Annie Duke wrote a book about why it was good to be a quitter, lol. She had no choice but to quit given that she couldn't win anymore against the new generation of players and she was an outcast in the game due to her relationship with the Full Tilt Poker Scandal.
