Well that is a new one. I assumed the “ask to date” option would only pop up when when they automatically were ready to say ‘yes’. Now it is revealed to be a potential landmine - just like real life! Lettie is a weird one for sure, but definitely my type. She is the one to go for if you want a challenge. She said yes to me - at least it seemed like a big yes. But she went into several longish speeches about Trust and Pain. At first I though it was clear she was talking about not wanting to get hurt again romantically, or maybe that if I cheated on her she would murder me, etc. But by the end it seemed like the conversation had definitely morphed into one when I was pretty sure, and yet not %100 sure, she was talking about wanting to physically cause me pain, and that I had to trust her! I think there's 2 factors: 1) the chemistry you have with the given Hex and 2) how many golden messages you have. Chemistry can gain from several different sources, the biggest is doing Bounties. If you did a lot of Amir bounties and not as many Aoi bounties you probably speedran Amir's friend track. So you can reach higher level friendships with Hex but maybe not have the good rapport with them to date. That's just my theory tho
