I think Haye’s body was likely done in training, he retired so it’s clear something was wrong. I still wouldn’t count Haye out in this matchup personally, he had the power and speed.

Would've loved to have seen this fight: Haye had a few miles on the clock but was still pretty fast, he looked sharp in sparring Wilder and Hrgovic for this fight. Fury, as skilled as he is, by his own admission was trying to win with this macho style of boxing at the time, which involved walking fighters down and using just his size and strength to beat them. It would've been a genuinely compelling fight.
