These types of explanations must be part of every Sunday's service.

Hmm ... I've figured Sam out. It's either total recall or photographic memory! Insightful stuff once again.

Another aspect of this: Luke is unabashedly writing as a historian collecting eyewitness testimony. He doesn't claim to be an eyewitness to Jesus, and by the account of Acts, he would not be an eyewitness for most of Acts. He is also attested to have died between 84 AD-100 AD. Even at the earliest date, this means that he was alive when the Temple was destroyed and Peter, Paul, and James were killed. Meaning, if someone wanted to fabricate the authorship, they could have easily included these incredibly significant events that boost the testimony of it (especially the destruction of the Temple) without compromising the claim to be authored by Luke. And Luke wasn't shy about saying, "X fulfilled Y prophecy" throughout his narrative. To me, it seems more convincing for a secularist to claim that Luke was written early, and the Temple destruction was the coincidence of a doomsday prophet speaking at a time of political upheaval, than to claim Luke was writing significantly later.

The internal evidence that we deduce from luke-acts most defintely proves the gospels are written at 40ad-80ad

On the basis that the fall of Jerusalem is never mentioned in the New Testament writings as a past fact, Dr. Robinson defends that the books of the New Testament were written before A.D. 70....contradicting, of course, the consensus of generations of Bible scholars. Redating the New Testament by John A. T. Robinson (Author)

Would actually disagree on Mark being written before Matthew. I know that's the current contemporary view but if you accept that then you have to acquiesce that the early church fathers were wrong about Matthew being the first gospel. It's probably more likely that Mark condensed portions of Matthew for a gentile or an external audience outside of the church.

Sam .. not sure if you’re being led in this direction .. but it would be epic if you produced resources to educate believers in apologetics / polemics so that they can 1 Pet 3:15 those who they come in contact with. You’re a walking talking polemics machine with fact lasers shooting out of your eyes and mouth 😄🫶🏾
