When, Why, and How to Transition to a New Bit (Episode 118) - Herm Gailey: A Lifetime with Horses

Typically the best practice is to keep your young horse in a ring snaffle for an extended period of time before transitioning to a light curb. However, if the snaffle just does not feel right to your horse it may be appropriate to change earlier. Here's how.
