Thank you for this! I’ve listened to and played a lot of your music in my years on my worship teams and really have enjoyed it! I am going through what I feel is the hardest season of my life, the last year and a half have been very hard and learning to trust God like I need to has been really difficult, I know He’s in control but am really struggling to keep it my focus because of my circumstances. I know it won’t last forever but I don’t feel like I see anything good right now either…I’m trying to stay positive but it’s been so hard…I know someday I will have my time though so I want to thank you for helping me try to refocus!

Most of us live an ordinary life with work and kids and all that, and you are just as called just were you are. Dont be afraid, dont over think this *calling" think. Yes!! This is so good! Young worship leaders need a pastor. So needed!! Yet so neglected. So often young ones are taken advantage of as a cheap hire with talent because they’re young and eager to step into their call but it ends up hurting them early on because there is no discipleship or mentoring.

Amen Kim! There is purpose in the wilderness. Moses was not prepared, nor was Moses ready to lead God's people, the Israelites, out of Egypt until after Moses fled into the wilderness (from Egypt). It was only after Moses spent many years tending the sheep of Jethro, his father-in-law, in the wilderness (Exodus 3:1), that the God of the Bible saw it fit to meet Moeses through the burning bush (Exodus 3:3). Jesus, the Son of God and Creator of the Universe, did not begin His Galilean ministry until Jesus was 30 years old (Luke 3:23)...and even after 30 years, Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness (Luke 4:2) in preparation for Jesus's Galilean ministry. As I was writing this I was thinking about a Jesus Culture song I love, "Where You Go I Go": "...Jesus only did, what He saw You do...He would only say, what He heard You speak...He would only move, when He felt You lead...following Your heart, following Your Spirit...how could I expect to walk without You...when every move that Jesus made was in surrender..." May we follow the Father's heart and Spirit every day, like Jesus did!

I don't think that they've found dinosaur footprints with human footprints but Job, one of the oldest books of Scripture, does mention behemoth and leviathan, which sounds like dinosaurs. They've found dinosaur soft tissue and carbon 14 in their fossils and those could not have lasted millions of years.

Bring along a colleague or friend if needed. This is the body of Christ (see whole chapter about doing things in manner of Christ, godly attitudes/character, and unity). Request help. Preferring do in person but follow up in writing to underscore seriousness of the need and earnestness of your respectful request. If not fruitful, request to convey the need and necessity to the elder body to help the body make sure the pastor is commissioned and has time to make this a priority. Also, if you have to leave eventually they will be informed as to what is needed going forward and how the pastor is to mentor their team
