*Fun Fact:* Sometimes I wish Super Mario Galaxy 3 existed as early as the Nintendo Wii days, just so that I could fantasize a licensed Wii Game Disc titled *Super Mario Galaxy Trilogy* , in a similar vein to how it was officially done with games like Metroid Prime and Rayman Raving Rabbids. It just intrigues me how incredible it was to have 3 whole/entire Wii games (or sometimes GC games) merged into a single Wii Disc (albeit through Dual-Layered builds).

There is a 100% chance that the next game has an original subtitle. The only reason they ever did a Super Mario Galaxy 2 was because they had too many additional ideas. Original Galaxy 2 was just going to be DLC for Super Mario Galaxy.

Another reason why they could do super Mario galaxy 3 is because if you look at the purple coins in the moon kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey, they are the shape of star bits, which gives us more hope.

What many do not understand is that more than just any Mario game, Mario Galaxy was huge, not so much in terms of the number of levels, but space and 0 gravity, among other things, allowed for many possibilities to create levels. I feel that in Mario 3d world and Mario Odyssey that is lost a bit, turning everything into worlds and levels that are too normal and unspectacular. That's right, Mario Galaxy was quite a spectacle, I think something that can bring that feeling back has to be a Mario game that has objects or enemies on a huge scale

First, we need Galaxy 2 on Switch. Mario Galaxy 1 was a limited release, but so was Mario 64 and that came to Switch Online, so anything is possible. Though the lack of Mario Galaxy 2 in the history part of the direct that revealed 3D Allstars is troubling, to say the least.

I think it is not the launch title for switch successor, rather a title in the middle of the life. A sequel to the open world launch game is takes time and resources and Nintendo would probably want to have the mid-gen game developed concurrent with the next one. Something smaller in scope, a linear game would do quite well. They can either expand on the high-praised galaxy games or make something new. I believe 3D land / world’s role is kinda taken over by the 2D games.

@@K.A.R.Gaming They were on a time limit because they were following the Mario 64 style of handling power-ups, both in terms of being timed and how they were utilized in level design, so same reason Vanish Cap and Metal Cap were similarly timed (as well as the Super Mushroom in 64 DS). Galaxy, despite being considered by many to be among the "linear" 3D Marios because of the way many of its individual missions often play out in level design, is still designed in terms of the core gameplay (and progression structure/level organization) directly after and in the same style as Mario 64, and so most things in Galaxy work in the same way or similarly to Mario 64 as opposed to how they work in 2D Mario or the 3D Land games. And that extends to some of the power-ups like the Fire and Ice Flowers and Rainbow Star being handled like the Metal and Vanish caps (apparently Rainbow Mario is even called "metal Mario" internally from what I've heard, interestingly), and the Red Star literally just being an upgraded OP Wing Cap with almost identical controls, and all having similar timer lengths to their 64 equivalents. Though of course Galaxy also introduces new power-ups that don't follow that 64 behavior, but they're also things that completely transform Mario and how he moves, like Boo Mario, Spring Mario, and even Bee Mario as it takes away almost all your different kinds of jumps except the normal one, unlike these other timed ones or the ones in 64.

It’s referenced in the Mario movie with a Sunshine advertisement or something. It gets a costume in Odyssey. It was originally on the globe in Odyssey as well. It’s referenced in Mario Kart Double Dash, DS, Wii, 7, Tour, 8 and 8DX with the courses based on it and the Piantas and Nokis showing up as spectators. It’s referenced in some of the sport games, Smash Bros, etc.

I think Nintendo is done with the Galaxy franchise. Don't get me wrong, I love Galaxy and Galaxy 2 as much as the next guy, but as you've stated yourself in this video, Nintendo is taking Mario in a very new, very different direction, and reviving a 14 year-old series doesn't really fit that image, and they're *certainly* not going to do it for the launch of a new console. Also, think about it, because Galaxy 2 was initially going to be an expansion to the first game, it's safe to say they used up all their ideas for Galaxy 2, or at least *good* ones. At this point, I think the best we can hope for is a Galaxy 1 + 2 bundle for the Switch 2, possibly with some cut stages and bonus content, because that way *everyone* is happy; Galaxy fans get to play both games on Nintendo's new hardware and Nintendo doesn't have to make another Galaxy game. And yes, I say *have* to and not *get* to because the dev team got super frustrated with the creation process for both games multiple times. Also, I want to be able to touch Cosmic Cove with my greasy fingers.

People always ask for a Galaxy 3, but hate getting 4 New Soup games that are basically the same? Makes no sense. A Galaxy 3 would be the exact same as Galaxy 2 and Galaxy 1, and because of that, it would end up suffering the same fate as the New Soup games. So what’s the difference?

Sorry if you criticize for thinking about my huge wish, but as much as I admit a third Super Mario Galaxy game sounds very awesome, exciting, and interesting, thinking about it also has me thinking about my wish. I really there was another 3D action Mario game titled Super Mario Majestia. Lead by Mario, he goes on a quest to save and restore the missing area parts of the land which have been separated during a huge attack by Bowser and his minions. In this 3D action game, Mario uses a magical staff to his advantage in fighting enemies and do all sorts of stuff with it. Would you like to find out my characters as well?

They are human mages from the land known as Majestia. Kiemonte is the wise, mature, and respectful leader and ruler who guides his fellow mages and other friends. Sunari the dancing mage and Neyla the mind mage are fraternal sisters and assistants of Kiemonte who do their best to help him and others in need. Xavior is his close friend and mage decipherer.

As for Gerodi and Jalrez, they are Kiemonte's 2 mage guards. Defense is Gerodi's specialty and offense is his partner and rather best friend Jalrez's specialty. What do you think of them? I think some people would like them if they were official. Also, sorry to say this, but about the land, I have not exactly gotten into much detail with it yet.

Nintendo is done whit mario in space. They only way they make a space theme mario game is if it a spinoff or RPG. Lots of mario games get reference galaxy no different your reaching. Nintendo has not done anything important whit rosalina sense the wii U era. She don't even have a mascot in the mario parade like daisy does. She a b-list character Nintendo only use when they feel like using her.
